About Chronically Working

Did you know that one billion people, that is 15% of the world's population, experience some form of disability? 74% of those do not use a wheelchair or any other physical or visible aid. With many disabilities being "invisible", there is a need for employers to empower these employees to feel safe enough to speak up and to ask for support when needed. Similarly, on the other hand, we know that managers, leaders and employers need results from these employees despite their conditions. This is why Chronically Working works with all parties involved to support and enable partnerships between these employees and their managers. This will not only help improve employee wellbeing, it will help drive business results and at the same time move towards a more inclusive and compassionate culture. Therefore, I have put together my personal experiences, research, psychology expertise and passion to create a number of services, these include; 1: 1 mentoring and coaching, workshops and training programmes, webinars and guest speaking events and consulting and research. All of which are designed and developed based on my research and aim to lead to a greater level of awareness of chronic illness and disability at work and have actionable frameworks to use to create partnerships between chronically working employees and their managers. These workshops and frameworks have already shown positive results with employees feeling better able to speak up, communicate about their conditions and have improved their overall wellbeing and productivity – if you'd like to see some of the feedback and case studies, please do let me know. In addition to this, I am also bringing together a community of "Chronically Working" employees to network, support and guide one another. In the future, there will be networking events and development opportunities (keep an eye on the events page of my website and social media for more on this - sam-wilkinson. co. uk )
