The bells of St Olave's, Hart Street, well known to Queen Elizabeth I - who celebrated her release from the Tower of London here - Samuel Pepys- buried within, along with his (long-suffering) wife - and Charles Dickens - who christened it 'St Ghastly Grim'. Also the burial place of numerous victims of the 1665 plague.

The George, Borough High St...c. 1880. 140 years later you can still enjoy a pint in what is now London's only surviving galleried coaching inn, and what better way than on a 'Shakespeare's London' pub tour, eh?

But who was Old Tom, you ask...?
Find out this and more on Chronicles' 'City of London: Historic Pubs' tour!

It's not all wandering around outside and popping into pubs - sometimes we write stuff too! So, what DID happen to Lord Lucan...?

Full moon over the oldest church in the City of London...

Up bright and early for another day of spaces, Shakespeare, and foul deeds...

Good afternoon everybody. We have been trying out some new ideas, and would appreciate some feedback!
On the website (and potentially on future flyers) we were wondering about ways to present information about the content of our tours. One idea is to do something akin to a tube line map, which seems fitting, no?
What do you think? Would this entice you on to a tour?
... Thanks!
