Just look at little Emilia (Lord Mayoress daughter) first picture sums up the fun day even when wet;-)
You know when rain spoils the start of the day especially Cars and Coffee Liverpool with the Liverpool Lord Mayor Christine Banks visiting and raising money for the 3 chosen Charities last Sunday. Well with the help of Emilia -Mayor's grand daughter, ex Mayoress Michelle Odwyer and the chosen charities that helped, we raised £203.39p!!!!! things got better when Steve turns u...p in one of his Ferraris worth £14 Million pound Ferrari 250 GT SWB in the pouring rain. The least expected person to turnup in such car to Cars and Coffee Liverpool to support our meeting. Its people like Steve and all the lovely friends and family turnup to make a wet day special. Thank you so much and brave the weather with us!!! love you Michelle Odwyer Terry Alan Barnett John Kane John Connell Aaron Schofield Luke Jordan Matthew Eaton Anthony Weaver Kev Jessop Joe Mehers Michael Pendlebury Gren Atherton Got Lȫvë David Gidman Chris Moss Brian Lloyd Rainer Kuehlwein Paul Rankin Terry Pankhurst also my Cars and Coffee Liverpool crew and Charalene & coffee crew x

********* Zongzi or 'Jung' Stick Rice Festival********************************* **
Choice of Zongzi or known as 'Jung' Glutinous rice. A great Dim Sum Daytime filler!!! Made freshly by our Dim Sum Chef famous for his award winning Zongzi in his home town of Guangzhou. The far left shows how's it's steamed in its traditional Lotus leaf ( the flavours of the tea leaf). -square looking Zongzi known as the 8 Treasure (THE DADDY STICKY RICE!!!) with 8 fillings such as Chestnut, sal...ted Egg & Pork, the black on top of the sticky rice is a big Chinese mushroom, dried scallop and more tasty filling £5.50 each. The pyramid shape one has simply Salted Roast Belly Pork at £4.50 each.
The Lotus leaf is unwrapped and there you see the sticky rice!
GREAT as one of the Dim Sum dishes chosen during the daytime. Chung Ku Restaurant Liverpool is re-noun for its Zongzi with all our Chinese customers.
BUT............ yes there is a BUT. if your not adventurous just order the normal sticky rice called a 'Lor Mi Gai' with Chinese Chorizo, pork, Chinese mushroom.
