Church Farm Liveries, Wrestlingworth Description

Church Farm Liveries, Wrestlingworth
There has been a riding stable on this site for over 30 years run by the McDonald family, In 2007 Mrs Jackie McDonald passed the business over to her Son, Mr John McDonald in which he embarqued on plans to modernise the business.
Firstly the old stables which had stood for over 60 years and which required extensive repairs, it was decided to move the stables into what was the old pig sty located close by the old stables.
Again repairs were needed and a new interior to house its new guests. A bespoke frame system to support the old roof and divide the building up into ten equal stables we have today.
The next job was to replace and install new fencing for the paddocks, for this a new post rammer was purchased which is mounted onto a tractor and allows posts to be positioned and hammered into the ground with great precision.
During this work we also installed security remotely operated gate system and fitted CCTV around the Farm to give protection to our clients and the business.
The last major job to be carried out was the installation of a schooling area which is now complete.
So this year new equipment was purchased to level and grade the schooling area.
For 2016 it is hoped to create a ride around the farms fields to allow an off road hack out
