Temporary Changes to the Online booking service
Following the advice of NHS England we have had to make changes to our online booking system to remove the facility for potentially infected patients with the Coronavirus COVID-19 to book appointments and attend the practice when they should be self-isolating. Please note telephone appointments are available to book and should you require a face to face appointment these are still available through contacting the surgery. We apologise for any inconvenience this may cause but hope you appreciate the measures we are needing to take to keep all patients and staff safe.

Next Phase of Electronic Prescription Service (EPS) We are upgrading to the next phase of the Electronic Prescription Service (EPS) which will mean that almost all our prescriptions will be processed electronically from 31 March 2020. Electronic prescriptions help save the NHS money. You will receive your prescriptions in the same way as you do now. For more information, please visit the NHS website.

The phone lines are back on however, we've been informed by BT that there's a problem in the area. This may affect the lines again, so please bear with us if this happens again.

User

Our phone lines are currently down. You can still book routine appointments online. If you need urgent appointment, please either pop to the surgery to be put on the triage list or ring 111. We apologise for any inconvenience and we'll update you as soon as this has been fixed.

Important changes to repeat prescription ordering
To ensure medicines are prescribed safely and reduce wastage we are looking to change the way repeat prescriptions are ordered for our practice. These changes mean that if you are a registered patient with us, you will no longer be able to order repeat prescriptions at the pharmacies that dispense for us and instead you will be required to order your repeat prescription directly from us at the practice either in writing (in p...erson or posted with addressed and stamped envelope) or via our online ordering system.
These changes will start from Monday 6th January 2020.

IMPORTANT NOTICE: If you take a medication called Ranitidine, you may have received a communication from us recently informing you to stop taking your tablets as there was a safety issue with the drug. Unfortunately, the information we received was unclear and it was only certain preparations of the drug that had safety issue, the other preparations had a supply issue. We would like to reassure you that all patients prescribed the drug with a safety issue have been contacted. If you are prescribed any of the preparations with a supply issue, your next repeat prescription will have been replaced by an alternative drug.
We sincerely apologise for any confusion or anxiety this may have caused.
