You are warmly invited to this year’s Association Weekend on 21–23 September 2018
Following feedback from guests last year, this year Saturday's dinner ticket prices will include wine and are great value at only £29 if you first came to College in 1993 or later. Tickets for current MCR & JCR are £19. A standard Dinner ticket costs just £39.
Our after-dinner speaker is alumna Anne Morrison (U78), Chair of BAFTA from 2014 to 2016 and current Chair of BAFTA's International Commi...ttee, as well as Chair of Pearson College London's Governing Body.
Choose from 2 exciting speaker events on Friday evening: a free event by cultural historian and Churchill Extraordinary Fellow and alumnus, Professor Sir Christopher Frayling (U&G65) on the history of Mary Shelley's Frankenstein in popular culture and imagination; or a paid lecture by writer and broadcaster Andrew Roberts on Winston Churchill's strong sense of personal destiny.
Use your dining rights to enjoy supper in the Fellows' Dining Room on Friday evening whilst sampling wines from the College cellars, guided by Fellows’ Wine Steward, Dr Paul Russell. Or, for those who prefer something more formal, High Table will be available.
Join other alumni for Saturday golf at Cambridge Meridian Golf Club.
Enjoy informal croquet in the College grounds on Saturday morning.
On Saturday afternoon The Wolfson Hall plays host to Director of the Archives Centre, Allen Packwood, along with author David Lough, retired founder of a private banking business, who has used his expertise to research and write about Winston's precarious personal finances. The two speakers will discuss the search for Churchill's leadership style.
Visit the Chapel for an ecumenical service on Sunday morning, followed by a guided tour of the Ascension Parish Burial Ground by College historian Professor Mark Goldie.
The Association Weekend coincides with the University’s Alumni Festival with a host of other events available.
Accommodation is available in College or at the Møller Centre at alumni rates.
Family and friends are very welcome to come along and experience our welcoming and unique environment.

A series of conversations with distinguished female professionals hosted by Professor Dame Athene Donald.
What do academics actually do? What motivates them to get out of bed each morning and to deliver what is — or in many cases what isn't - expected of them?
For a student setting out, the life of senior academics may seem very mysterious, particularly as many may end up taking on responsibilities and activities far removed from where an individual started. The trajectory from student to senior academic is rarely a straight line, with twists, setbacks, timeout and/or opportunities (taken or declined) all to be combined with a personal life.
This series of conversations aims to explore the individual paths of some eminent academics who have made it to the top in their own particular ways. How have they found their own solutions to 'life', what tips do they wish they'd been given earlier on, and what might they view, retrospectively, with most pleasure or regret?
