I love Churchill Square. It is good fun and you can shop and also eat there. The buses also stop outside. They also have a table tennis table in the middle.

User

Would be 5 but the lift is awful! A mall this size should have more than one and the fact the one that there is soo soo slow does not help

User

I like the Churchill Centre very much, but the parking is extortionate and on the 3rd April is the prices are going up again by Β£1. Eastbourne is exceptional value for parking and cheaper than parking in the north. If your travelling alone or have a free pass public transport could be the best option for you.

User

Shops mostly designer now. Car park rip off I parked 3pm - 10pm as fancied a bit of shopping and a meal before seeing a concert at Brighton Centre didn't realise I wouldn't be charged the evening price Β£4 between 6- midnight and additional 3 hours in top. But instead got a bill for Β£17 not happy!!!

User

I am registered disabled and it took me a while to get to the store , My iPhone 6s Plus had issues 1 being the Camera that I was told I was lucky as it was a problem with the phone ? Replaced the camera but as and when I got home the phone was scratched all over . After contacting them I am still waiting for a manager to call me an was told I would be called yesterday afternoon. I don't think I will be buying anything else from them , Sorry οΏ½, The young girl was great but as for the repair , I am appalled at the state of my phone and that I had to go there in the first place .

User

Very cross to have to have paid Β£12 to park in your car park last night. Arrived at 17.33 and left at 22.45 after a show. Evening price is Β£3.50 so assumed I'd pay for the first hour and then Β£3.50 after 18.00. But no, got charged Β£12 for 4-6- hours. Was told I should have left the car park, driven around the block and re parked after 6pm! Ridiculous answer! Other machines correctly calculate timings, so sort out your machine.

User

My main gripe is with the cost of parking. For a whole day in Worthing it costs Β£10 but for just 4 hours it costs Β£15 in your car park. Why do you charge so much? Surely you have enough visitors who use them to be able to reduce the cost and still reap in a revenue (as I know it’s more about profit than anything else).

User

Β£15 to park for 4 hrs 15 minutes is totally unacceptable. You seriously need to consider staggering your parking charges more appropriately. It is daylight robbery, we certainly will not be returning.

User

Your parking machines are terrible! And your signs are misleading! Waited in que for roughly about 15 mins on one machine, that said its 'cash only'. Put my ticket in and I went to put Β£10 note, which it didn't accept, it was 'coins only' machine.

Went to another machine and I've been waiting in this line since 4pm and I'm still waiting. So I've assuming I'm going to be charged for waiting nearly an hour to pay for not even a hours parking.

User

Why is there no Changing Places toilet? There is space for one. Surely this is discrimination?!

User

Today I had a very bad experience at the fudge shop on the bottom floor. The man was such a hard sell, i asked for 1 piece per flavor but he put in a handfull of each.

I told him i dont want this much but he keep on talking about how good those fuges are and he pretended that he cant hear what i was saying and just weighed them anyways.

I felt that i was forced to buy Β£30 worth of fudge when I initially just wanted a small bag. I usually love Churchill Square but today's experience was terrible.

User

There are not enough lifts I was there with my disabled granddaughter in a wheelchair and we had to wait ages for the lift it was full all the time mostly with people I am sure could have used the escalators there needs to be more lifts to all floors or somebody minitoring who uses the lifts it was bloody disgusting the wait we had on all floors

User

The toilets in Churchill Square Mall are ABSOLUTELY DISGUSTING. Whoever is responsible for them should be hanging their heads in shame. Dirty, soiled pans, broken locks, no toilet tissue in cubicles and they STINK.

User

Thank you for reading my complaint regarding parking on Saturday . Thank you for contacting me to offer 3x2 hour parking vouchers .

However having now spent more time than is acceptable in order to resolve this , I’m gonna share my views and then proceed to the next step of my complaint. Basically even though I said I paid , you insisted I pay again , in essence forcing me to remain until I had paid again . Therefore insinuating I was a liar . You basically held me until I paid twice , against my will but I was with my children and we had to be somewhere. You have now admitted that you took money twice therefore made me pay for something I should not have .

Basically theft from my account or extortion in order to allow me to leave with my car .

Strong words but both true , I will not use the car park again and urge other people to be careful as it could happen to them.

It’s principles and whoever operates this service should be held to account , maybe I’m not the only one ?

But I dont like having to chase Β£4 but it’s not the Β£4 as I explained it’s the way I feel as a company you behaved , inappropriately and urge others to be very careful

User

Spent a few hours here today with my grandchildren. Most of that time was spent waiting for access to the lifts as I am disabled. I have never seen such small lifts they were constantly full of people and prams and every time the doors opened for us to go up or down it was full and no room I had to send my daughter up in the lift on her own to ask people to not board the lift on the way down as we had already waited 20mins for a space. Then when I left the Β£7.50 fee for parking is the most expensive amount I have paid in a shopping centre maybe some of this extortionate amount charged should be spent improving the facilities. I will not be going ever again !!!!

User

Never been so shocked in my life!!! I'm a 32 year old heavily pregnant women finishing eating at closing time in the food court when I was verbally abused by one of the centres security staff who insisted I got up and left not just once but twice because I wasn't quick enough to finish my meal and In his words I was holding him up from going home. He become very abusive sarcastic and I felt threatened by his attitude!! When I tried to speak he started clapping me and giving me more attitude. Is this acceptable behaviour by a member of your staff??? I think not!!! My first visit and last!

Had a terrible experience in The Italian Kitchen today. Stopped off to get some lunch while out shopping with my mother. Waited over 5 mins to be shown to a table, order immediately and then waited over 25 mins for our food to arrive (please note we ordered a salad (with warm halloumi in it), a panini and a side of chips. Not exactly time consuming food). We called over a waitress and explained the situation and ask what was going on, initially she tried to tell us that it was just because they were busy, but quickly changed when we pointed out that people who had come in well after we had already had their food. She went off to find out what was going on and never came back to tell us what was taking so long.

Another 10 mins passed before our lunch finally arrived, and it was cold. Everything was just stone cold. And by this point it was nearly 3pm! We only reason why we didn't complain then and there was because we had already been there nearly an hour and could not afford to wait another 25 mins for replacement food.

I have been a loyal customer there ever since they opened, but not anymore. Awful service. I am very disappointed. Will not be going back there again

User

Had a cup of tea with my friend in the Italian .usually the food looks lovely but today we just had tea for two .over four pounds for a pot of hot water with one tea bag in it .terrible I know there are cut backs but this is awful

User

Got to the ticket machine just under the 3 hour mark just for our ticket to be conveniently blocked , had to wait for someone to come up and sort it out for us and by that time our ticket had gone past the 3 hour mark. Would be nice if you could sort your machine out so it stops overcharging people just for the sake of moneyοΏ½
