we had a really good night, good music, good food, good beer, ad the dance floor was packed, the ten of us really enjoyed ourselves, will be going again real soon

thanks to chris and his team who made our wedding reception as special as it was.. the food was fantastic, the dj was spot on and the room looked amazing.. great venue... thanks again we had a great night..

had a meal there today lovely place meal was lovely only one thing wrong I couldn't lick me plate dry rose would have gone mad defo goin again with grandkids they got a nice play area

We went NYE, was a lovely atmosphere, and had a fantastic night! Would definitely go again, only thing I would say is for a family event, chicken nuggets or something on the buffet for the kids wouldn't of gone a miss.

We had a great afternoon celebrating on Sunday 3rd Dec 2017 the 80th birthday of mom/mom in law Millie Oldacre.

Everything went well, nice room, food was lovely, help was there when needed and allowed to arrive early to decorate the room ready for surprise party.

It was our first visit and thought it was excellent . We would definitely be going again. Entertainment was Jersey 4 they were fabulous. We danced and sang and enjoyed a few to many drinks lol but still that's what we like to do and everyone on the night did so to. Brilliant !!!!

Have to say that Churchills was absolutely superb today for the football.. Great service, good food and a great atmosphere..

Had our kids christening reception held on Sunday the 5th April 2015 in the marquee. What a excellent venue & value for money the Churchill social club is. The buffet food was prepared with a great choice & generous offerings. The marque was just right with a separate play area for the kids & offered plenty space & music facilities. But the best thing I have to say is the service from all the staff was first class all day, who couldn't do enough to ensure our day went successfully & will be remembered forever. I would not hesitate to book this venue again, & have already mentioned it to some of my friends.

Had a great night seeing the black country boys got our tickets late. But were made very welcome by all staff also I enjoyed the fact they have a seating plan because it means you don't have to get there too early before the show starts too get a seat. Will definitely be getting more tickets too more shows refreshing too have somewhere good too go for a change keep up the good work�

First visit last night to this venue after seeing mixed reviews on here was a little sceptical, but was very wrong. We had a great night drinking and more importantly dancing to some fab tunes.... DJ was fab playing loads of old northern soul and finishing with 70's 80's and 90,s music. Very comfortable place were made to feel very welcome by all. Bar staff and door staff friendly and drinks cheap too. What more do you want.... will be back soon.... xx

Amazing venue, 2 very good size function suites and bar area, we attended the panto and the New Year's Eve party. All the family enjoy going here! The food is 5* quality and the staff are so welcoming, friendly which makes the atmosphere here a very happy one.

Would totally recommend this venue for any function or night out or even a beautiful Sunday lunch! �

We had a lovely night last week at the simply red tribute . He was brill .Such a relief to know when you have tickets that your seat are reserved. Only downside was the food . We paid extra £6 each for the food which I thought was a help yourself buffet. It was served to us and although the hot pork was nice I really think with the curry , that rice and naan bread should be offered . There were chips but they were cold . So will definitely go again but won't be having the food . ..

The room is lovely and very freshly decorated by the looks of it but the communication between is and staff abt the room wasn't good at all. On the day we done all our own food which wasn't a problem we then got asked to leave just after 5 as the room was only for 4 hours which we were never told abt when we booked as I wudnt of booked it as people travelled from Scotland for the christeningso wanted more of a party. Also someone heard 1 of the managers say the music was too loud dont no why thry never come to me themselfs and said it tho. all left told them we would be back on the morning for dj stuff which they said was fine turned up next morning nobody answered or let us in someone finally answered at half 12 said we cudnt get in that day as nobody was there... all of a sudden churchills rings our house at 2pm in afternoon saying we need to get rid of out me own rubbish coz we done our own buffet which nobody mentioned to us either on christening day either when my husband turned around and said it wudnt b till 5pm the next day the attitude changed and all of a sudden they said they can open up for us to get rid of all our rubbish for half an hour that day as they needed the room the next day don't no y they cudnt of just said this at half 12 when we phoned instead of saying nobody was there. So whoever goes here just make sure u get better communication than we got.

Visited Sunday after some good reports & reviews but I wasn't too impressed. We were squeezed into the smaller room (where snooker tables used to be) as the main room was having some work done on the floor apparently. This was ideal as all the tables & chairs were all squashed in, which didn't make you feel comfortable. The heat in the room was far too hot, maybe due to the food heaters, which again made you feel even more uncomfortable & too hot. The food was ok but for the cost & reviews, I expected much better if Im honest & didn't expect SMASH (Instant mashed potatoes) on my dinner. We will try it again encase this was an off day but first impressions were poor.

This is not a northern soul venue no disrespect to John who tried his dammed hardest to give the people what Thay wanted

As for the bar staff very rude if your face dont fit

And as for the the manager hes all over you one minute talking behind your back the next he was OK with a certain DJ to start until this DJ stood up for a member oF johns staff

Then he seen this DJ as a threat and he made it bad atmosphere to work in for all

Disco Bob is a great chap no disrespect to Bob

loves his CDs

He should go down well
