Dipping Pond is looking good this morning only taken 4 months to fill, all we need is some pond wildlife now.

Barclays part two! Once again thanks for our new gardening equip, that will keep our Gardening Dept happy.

Well eventually the weather bet us this afternoon, but the 2nd team from Barclays struggled onto 2pm working hard on the Pit Hill path consolidating last week's work, the rest of our team needless to say we're busy doing thier bits

Babs & some of the Barclays Team tried to make something of the remains of the drystone wall at the bottom of Pit Hill, but nothing obvious, but there was definatly a 'step up' to a path by side of allotments.

Very proffessional !!

A big thank you to Barclays Bank for thier hard work today, and thier very kind donation of a large quantity of gardening equipment, their colleagues and down next week as well to try and out do this weeks team, the "gloves are off" at this rate the Pit Hill path could reach Cottingley by this time next week.

What a busy day today and you'd have thought we would be celebrating our award but no, the team where hard at work ably assisted by a team from Barclays Bank and what a load of jobs we've managed to compete, our usual teams were busy in the Nursery and doing fence repairing, while the rest were hard at work block paving the entrance into Clarkspring Woods, very proffessional job it looks as well, the rest of us worked on the Pit Hill footpath continuing it nearer Churwell New Village, along with repairing the mysterious drystone wall.

Wonderful little walk! The volunteers who look after the woods are wonderful and the events are great for the family!

We'll to all the volunteers on creating a great place

We have been 'dog sitting' and used the woods every day to take Buddy for his walks. Thank you for making our environment/community space such a pleasant area x

Thanks to all the Churwell Environmental Volunteers for accommodating 6th Morley Cub Scouts on Thursday night. All the cubs had a great time participating in the different activities you put on for us. You do a great job and we will be back soon to help out!

Lived here now for 3 and a half years and never realised what was literally behind my house!! my 2 year olds word was its "beautiful mummy" & thats just in the winter, i cant wait to see how it looks in the summer, amazing job these people have put in. Thank you

Had a lovely 1.2m steady walk this morning, even went underneath the motorway, saw a few dog walkers but all well behaved, we will be visit again as it's so close to where we live.

CEVs do such a good job that I think people sometimes forget they are volunteers. Steve in particular does a brilliant job prioritising tasks and organising the work they do. The woodland railway is great fun and a big attraction. Thanks to Stephen, the (engine) driving force behind it. And finally thanks to all those who put in so much hard work to make the woodland events so successful.
