Lady behind the bar is amazing! She goes out of her way to ensure that her staff give impeccable service to the customers. This restaurant is run like clockwork and immaculate. Her staff were telling me how well she treats them and looks after them - hats off to this lady she has got it right..... and the food is amazing too� xx

I loved this place! Food is gorgeous.. amazing cocktails and the manager was so welcoming! We were truly looked after! Can’t wait to go back!!

Food was amazing worth going , yep staff need to be more attentive , and had to wait sometimes even for another drink when Glass was empty . Easy remedied once caught attention , overall Value for money , the food portions where brilliant , highly recommend .

First time here. Great that we got a table after the Liverpool food & drink festival. Food is lovely. Small place so would recommend booking for any more than 2 people. Nice atmosphere, staff lovely, but credit to the chef as the food was really nice 👍🏼Would definitely come back again

Service was poor I was really disappointed this being out first visit, and the last time I'd see my partner until the new year. Servers seemed more bothered with the larger parties and clearing than single tables. I wanted a dessert menu but was flat out ignored by two of the wait staff, glasses were both empty and ignored and staff were generally quite ignorant. HOWEVER to the chefs your shredded chilli beef was AMAZING! Absolutely to kill for! Shame about the service genuine dampener and I had to stand up and get my own bill! Genuinely annoying I get it's December but that isn't really an excuse is it? I work for a four star hotel and I genuinely expected a better level of service.

Nice food, service was very slow as only 2 staff on upstairs floor! Never been to a Chinese that try and give your main with the starter I suggest they don't do this in future as other tables were complaining of this. Small portions for price but overall was a nice night!

Unfortunately I didn't think chy was as good as everyone thinks. We had a banquet for 2. The chicken and sweet corn soup had no taste and no chicken in. The rest of the food was only standard. We asked if we could move tables. We were told a table would be free in 10 mins. They sat other people there and didn't even come back to speak to us. Total waste of money.

Couldn’t fault the ambience of the place , really nice feel. Sui mai starters were delicious, main course was average, had the special chow mien, overpriced and over powered with dark soy. My friend had king prawn in satay, again nothing special. Drinks as you would expect over priced also, but the experience was ok. Wouldn’t go back as you can better and cheaper else where. Service was good and efficient and as I said the ambience was nice on a busy Friday evening.

Will never be eating in Chy Lark Lane ever again, first our mains come out freezing cold to be told we are lying they then told us we would have fresh cooked mains. When they came back my chicken satay sauce had skin on it which you could tell straight away they had been microwaved, the salt and pepper chicken had then a hair embedded in the batter to when we complained about this we were told it was our fault (how can this happen when it was embedded in the chicken) absolutely disgusting after all of this we never even got a sorry and had to pay the full bill. I go to chy numerous times a year and it is very sad to say I will not be returning ever again awful customer service. Such a shame

We decided to go for some food the starters where nice but then our main meals arrived at our table cold and as we complained the women(waiter) looked as us as if we was lying and said how could they be? She then took all food to apparently be re-cooked they come back microwaved as the sauces had a layer of skin one of the mains also had a hair inbeded into the chicken the staff denied it was any of there’s presuming it was one of our but it couldn’t be as it was in the chicken we decided we did not want to continue and went to pay for starters&drinks they where no apologies very poor customer service!

Was here before. Waited 50 minutes for a table after being told 15 minutes then got our starters and they was decent can’t really complain about them but then came the mains! They knocked us all sick! Came out stone cold like it had been in the fridge and obviously sent them back. They came back out clearly microwaved as sauce had formed a skin etc. We was then accused of planting the hair even though it was embedded into the c chicken. No apology! No nothing! I’m stuck with jumbos on princess drive from now on

The manager needs to give her head a wobble- thinks its ok to sit in the reception shouting and swearing down her phone! Banging the couch with her fists shouting down the phone she will rip someones head off... This is totally unacceptable to sit and listen to this when weve just paid over £60 to eat.. She never had the grace to apologise. Very shocking, very dissapointing and so UNPROFESSIONAL!!!!!!!!! Would never return �������

Got appetisers was nice then it started on the mains came out freezing cold and got told they were getting done again came out microwaved and had a hair in one of food and got made out as we were lying and we put the hair in the chicken?,when it was embedded. also got charged for the full bill with no discount or apology whatsoever rubbish customer service

Booked this table tonight for 15 the lady on the bar has a terrible attitude towards her staff and also got charged for extra drinks that we didn’t get als don’t understand how they serve halve the party main courses if they didn’t get started so they finished there meal before rest got mains chy in Crosby is much better the blonde lady behind bar need lessons on manners
