Drawing liberally on the culinary tradition of the Mediterranean basin, the variety and simplicity of Cilician recipes and quality of the ingredients are guarantees of delicious meals.

By day, Cilicia is a smiley, come-in-as-you-are café serving (all day) big breakfasts - the full English (veggie version) features grilled halloumi – and lunches. Then at 5pm sharp, it changes into a cosy restaurant serving unpretentious Mediterranean grills, seafood, mezes, casseroles and pide. Traditional desserts include baklava and sutlach, a kind of creamy rice pudding. The mix of orange-painted walls, bare brick, assorted artefacts and multi-coloured hanging lamps give the place a real warmth.
