What a fantastic way to watch movies very comfortable and the picture and sounds incredible

We were having a really difficult time at the cinema with our son who has autism. Mehdi, who I think is the supervisor/manager went above and beyond to help my son and our family. Thank you so much. Very positive experience for us.

We had a fab visit over May half term , and movies for juniors is so cost effective and a lovely thing todo on a rainy Morning with the kids, at a very reasonable price

Reading some of these bad reviews � my cinema of choice, excellent location with food and drink places nearby. Went yesterday to watch black Panther, staff were friendly with good service, wasn't overcrowded with people, nice and warm compared to outside!

As normal fast and efficient. Always book on line and use electronic tickets. Been going weekly now for 3 years. Can only say it’s value for money and a great night (or day) out. If you need to go manual arrive 10-15 mins early.

A great cinema with cracking sound, nice seats and working non-leaking toilets. It’s a shame Cineworld HQ don’t spend a few quid on Bristol instead of treating it like a Grindhouse cess pit. Bristol’s staff are a credit to the cinema and company. It’s a shame they haven’t a nice working environment. Toilets smelling of wee, broken seats, average sound and poor quality screens are the order of the day.

Massive slow lines, food massively expensive. But overall a simple and clean cinema. I don't eat cinema food, so to just go and watch a film it's a great place. Staff welcoming and friendly.

Great place but never very warm, especially on a cold night like last night found it very uncomfortable.

Always enjoy going there but ....

What happened to showing some French Movies and other foreign films beside Hindi or Russians?

There was a time when Cineworld in Cheltenham was showing one French movie every 2 to 3 months.

Any reasons why Cineworld?

The last two times we have been it seems as if they are very short staffed! We waiting 20 in the line just to get drinks. Otherwise the experience was good. Just need to work on serving people faster

I think parents should be more responsible for their kids running around while people try to watch the movie...very annoying if you paid ticket and food are not cheap.

Great new imax screen,good movie, sound etc. But why oh why is the cheap and disgusting food so overpriced? Much plastic at the ready and then to top it off annoying emails to ask for a review. I tried to leave one but at no point does it ask if the food was good value ( it knows it isn’t so why ask? Right? ) if you leave anything other than an annoying grinning face imojie it won’t progress.

So £130 later for 6 tickets and two regular popcorn/Pepsi and under 100g pick a mix later, I’ll leave it for a while. Oh one more thing, get with the programme cineworld. It’s your responsibility to sort out the plastic crap.

Always attend this cinema but in the last few visits things have gone down hill. The escalator has been out if use for over a month! The tickets collect screens were not working last night and two of the front doors were out of action? Surely these problems should be fixed quicker? Otherwise I enjoy the venue, but management need to act on the disrepair of the place 😕

The lady at the entrance tried to scan my mobile booking - looked flustered and then sent me to the wrong cinema and wrong seats. After we realised and left the wrong one I went back to her to check - she told me the correct one but gave no hint of an apology - really poor customer service in an otherwise decent experience.

I wish you guys had changing places. My son loves going to the cinema but you have no where for me to change him other than to lie him on the toilet floor. Please cater for all your customers

I use to love coming to this cinema, however after the last 3 visits it has got worse.



They've changed suppliers for there drinks and food. First time they ran out of food I was told to then see someone coming into the screen after me with a hotdog!



I ordered nachos with sour cream the second time to find the sour cream was more like milky water and dry! Along with the world's smallest coffee!



Recently we was watching Solo in Imax3D, it didn't start till 30mins after it should of and for the last 30mins we had spiders webbing and walking around the camera lenses protecting onto the screen!



So overall it's become very poor service and maintenance of the cinema.

Huge queue to get into the screens, just one person checking tickets on a Saturday night is ridiculous.

Screen 10 not been cleaned properly and film spoilt by idiots behind kicking the back of the chairs.

To many people on their phones and not a member of staff in sight. Not good enough.

Was very disappointed in my visit to cineworld Cheltenham. Usually go to Gloucester and wish I had! Girl behind counter was unwelcoming and talked over me and my husband to her colleague, wasn't helpful on food deals and slammed our drink in the counter. When I was unsure where needed to go to scan my email I asked the girl and was promptly told 'over there obviously' *points to ticket checkers! I was very angry and disappointed in the service and I wanted to walk out there and then but have spent nearly £40 (daylight robbery) on tickets and food me and my husband decided to stay and watch the film. The cinema wasn't clean to a high standard so I felt grimey watching the film. A rare day off together with my husband I was looking forward to was ruined by this experience. Luckily the meal at frankie and bennys afterwards saved it. Steer clear from visiting this cinema go to Gloucester instead.

Totally unimpressed. Went with a meerkat movie code to watch Dunkirk last night only to be told their computers were down so they couldn't do two for one. They could, however, sell the tickets at full price. Not sure how that works. Nor were they interested in explaining they just kept parroting that they couldn't accept codes, we could use it next week. Yes, I can use it next week, I can use a new code every week, but I won't. Such a shame cineworld have taken over Gloucester/Cheltenham and clearly feel they don't need to offer good customer service as people are forced to return to them if they want to see the latest releases whatever the experience was like ...
