Circle One Surf Company Description
Circle One was founded in Exeter, Devon by legendary shaper, Jeff Townsley, back in the early days of 1969.
As a young guy in the early 60’s, fortunate enough to live the surf dream , Jeff travelled with his fellow surf buddies through Southern France, Spain, Portugal, Canaries, Morocco and beyond in the essential beaten up VW campervan. Those journeys like nothing else fired his passion for riding waves and surfing to the max.
So, back in the UK and with feet on the ground, it is a classic story of humble corporate beginnings – making boards for himself and his friends taking inspiration from US Surf magazines. All the while Jeff was testing new designs, materials and production techniques, thinking how he could do things better, challenging the norm.
Over 40 years on and the Circle One evolution continues. Today the brand is synonymous with technological innovation and craftsmanship, the same starting points of Jeff’s first exploits.
The history continues. .

Would highly recommend!! Ordered a hood on the Thursday had a phone call on the Friday saying they hadn't posted it next day so they have put one in the post and it'll get to me tomorrow.
Would 100% recommend this company. I contacted them yesturday to buy a double surf bag ready to transport 2 surf boards abroad this year, very helpful & polite on the phone and it arrived with me today by 0930 in excellent condition. Will be visiting the store when i am back in the UK. Many thanks �
The Circle One Razor has become my go to board, love it!
So far, as well as wet suits, I've had 3 kiteboards, 6'3, 6' and 5'6, all cracking boards in their own rights. And recently, I brought a 9'1 Lazy Hog. I'd been surfing a competitors 9'2 for many years and fancied something with a little more manoeuvrability. When I saw the stepped deck (similar to the new Razors I believe) and performance tail, I was convinced. In use, it paddles quicker than my old board, picks up waves easier, and as long as you get on the tail, it whips around a turn brilliantly. It's also really light, so you can flick it around on the wave too. When I knocked off a bit of the gel coat, a quick call and they put me right on how to fix it too. Can't recommend them or their products more strongly.
Rode a Circle One Razor 5,11 today, cannot believe how responsive this board is! It plains through flat sections and doesn't have any problem going rail to rail on turns. It seems great for any waves! Awesome!

I have had nothing but pleasant experiences dealing with Jeff and the guys in circle one. I bought a wetsuit last year and the salesperson was very friendly and nice. Nearly a year later, I had a slight issue with my wetsuit and Jeff in returns sorted out the problem with no issues whatsoever. I would recommend circle one to anyone buying wetsuits or other outdoor/water equipment. Fantastic customer service! Super impressed! Keep it up guys! Thanks again!
