We eat at beefeeter cirencester often but this was the first time we had Christmas dinner. As soon as we entered it was decorated

beautifully. It was warm and cosy and we were greeted by the manager with a hearty merry Christmas. The food was delivered promptly after our drinks and complimentary prosseco arrived. The food was delicious and plenty of it the staff were attentive and made the experience warm and friendly heartly recommend .

To be fair I have been either at lunch or breakfast so I never really had to wait at all but from my experience it is very good. At lunch from the lunch saver menu is very good value and belly busting and the breakfast was just the same, good options, good quality food and a deep dish plate. All for £8.99 and you can have both continental and cooked, I highly recommend it, especially at those times I have visited.

User

Great place, the lunchtime menu is really great value for money, we are regularly served by Kirsty who always goes above and beyond to insure we are happy etc, other members of staff are also very friendly. if we have ever had any problems they are always sorted professionally and efficiently.... the breakfast is also great, plenty of food to choose from and again good value for money

This was our second visit to this restaurant. Our first was just after it opened and we hoped things had improved.

Briefly...only two waitresses serving drinks and food. Drinks eventually came but were unfortunately wrong. This was rectified to our satisfaction.

Food took a time to come. From what i could see only 2 chefs.

The restaurant was getting busy so the two waitresses had even more to cope with.

Food was ok

Would we return...probably in the future when hopefully management would by then taken onboard all customer reviews regarding lack of staff.

Staff who did serve us were friendly and polite.

The premier inn hotel stay was perfect.

Quiet and clean so couldnt ask for more

Come down for our pre payed brekky for £8.99 to find dirty (lipstick on cups) pure laziness!

Breakfast is ment to be ready for 06:30 am

The so called chef arrived at 06:40 am then obviously had to set the kitchen up before cooking.

Didnt leave there till 07:30am made my start very late.

In saying this the breakfast was good!

My son booked a table for 6pm on bank holiday Monday. We got there to be told there was no booking and we were stuck on a table by the door. I couldn't take my jacket off as it was too cold. We were then left for 45 minutes before we got our starter. Whilst watching other people walking in and being given better tables. It was nearly half hour before our main meals arrived. Our waitress did in the end come and apologise for the delay and we did get our desserts free. But it doesn't make up for the crap table and long wait so probably won't be coming back any time soon

User

It’s a beefeater....but they’d run out of steak ...very odd

User

Food was ‘ok’ but very overpriced. The thing that let it down the most was the fact that we ordered pudding and it was about 30 mins later we were told they didn’t have what we ordered.

Came here for my husbands 40th as staying in the premier inn and it was £55 for the two of us, it wasn’t worth it.

Breakfast the next morning was better

User

Food was good. Strangers in the area staying at nearby campsite so just walked in about 5pm, thought would go early as on Saturday. Restaurant quite empty but when asked if we had booked was told well I can seat you but you would have to be out within the hour. Accepted that and was shown to a six seated table when there was only 2 of us which I thought was a bit odd and we were asked for our drinks order. 20 minutes later our drinks came and our meal order was taken, so we thought given we only had the hour wouldn't bother with a starter so just ordered a main. 45 minutes after we had initially arrived our main meal came. When we had finished we were over the hour but no-one had said anything about the table so just asked for bill as thought pudding would really take us over our allotted time. Took another 5-10mins to catch someone's eye for the bill so by the time we left had been there just over one and half hours. Female (I thought THE MANAGER) could have been a bit more flexible as we may have had 3 courses but made to feel that we needed to get out quickly

User

Bar service was good. Returned in the evening for a share platter, it appeared without napkins. Delivered without a smile. Busy day at the inn I thought. Ate it and left. Would I go back? Probably not..

User

We ate there on Sunday the 21st January 2018 it wasn’t busy the waitress was brilliant we had to wait half hour for a starter and the same for a main if it wasn’t for the waitress we would of been in there 2 to 3 hours the waitress had to chase our orders she was excellent.

Service is slow

Have had 2 good meals there before but this time we didn't even get around to eating. Waited between 5 & 10 minutes to be seated, No staff around but plenty of empty tables. By the time we got seated the queue was out the door. Got seated and waited quite a while for our drinks order to arrive. First meal we ordered they had run out of. A glass had a lipstick stain on it. Very disappointed. We paid for 3 out of 4 drinks got up & left.

User

Came in other week my son wanted kids steak was well over done sent it back Sat Waiting for ages for his to come back and everybody had eaten there food his steak them came back and tasted of burnt was horrible my daughter had steak was very chewy also tasted burnt didn't even bother to send hers back as the wait for my son's food was long enough wait my Partner said he will never return

User

absoloutly distgusting. booked a table of 11 for my birthday meal took 20 minutes to get a drink because all 3 bartenders were to busy with another gentlemen (who was also complaining) finally got served and they refused to serve my partner because they wouldnt except his id which is validateUK which is a legal id! (VALIDATE UK cards all bear the PASS hologram meaning that they are recognised by the Home Office, National Police Chief's Council (NPCC) and CTSI (Chartered Trading Standards Institute) and the Security Industry Authority (SIA), as valid photographic proof of age ID.)

as it says above! we then cancelled the booking and they missed out on a lot of money and they really didnt care just shrugged and smirked! the restraunt we went to last minute were amazing and very helpful in saying that the id shpuldve been accepted! so your loss and thank you for ruining my birthday!

the lady who we spoke to was absoloutly distgustingly rude to all of us, never know how she and the manageress at the time got such a job!

i will never recomend this restraunt!

User

Well we got there waited for 6 mins for someone to come and seat us remembering we had 5 children with us so the children went and sat down at the table so they decided they was not coming to take are order so after 20 mins we got up and walked out the door my brother went and complained and said it was cuz we went and sat down without waiting for us to be taken to are seats it's a bloody joke it's only the second time I have been in here very disappointed

Travelling on our way to visit friends, saw your pub/ restaurant it looked lovely so decided to stop, looked inside didn’t look too busy so waited to be seated. A young lady approached asking if we’d booked, we replied no, she then replied they were expecting a large to turn up shortly and that were fully booked. I explained we weren’t local and there were only 4 of us, but was again told that they were expecting a large party and they were fully booked, it was only half full at the most, I wasn’t going to argue so we left and went else where. I wasn’t impressed at all

User

Long wait times, 2 and half hours for food, waitress forgot to take half the plates away and left the other half sat there on the table for 30min's +. Not good, 2 chefs in the kitchen all afternoon, how do i know this as we were there all afternoon. 2 waitress running around like no tomorrow.

Placed our order for Ice cream's, which took 25min+ (for ice cream) which was wrong when they finally arrived, one of which we had for free because of this error.

I could go on, but however the mains and starter was good, standards seem to have slipped since it first opened which is a shame.

User

Haven’t been hear before and not coming back! Took 45 minutes to be seated, then took about 40 minutes for our food to come for the mixed grill to be cold, chicken was dry and rock hard, steak was cold in the middle and gammon was dry! Chicken burger was tiny for £13!!
