Choice of Apart'hotel
Citadines South Kensington is one of the most distinguished Apart'hotels in our Citadines chain. Fully renovated in 2010, it offers you 92 apartments in over 6 floors, including 62 Studios as well as 30 One-Bedroom Duplex apartments with galleried bedrooms open to the lounge that sleep up to four guests. In the Premier Studios, you have a choice of twin or double beds, which can accommodate up to two guests. The One-Bedroom Duplex apartments are fitted with sofa beds in the lounge area and a double or two single beds in the bedroom. All our apartments are air conditioned.
Ideal Location
The Victoria and Albert Museum and the National History Museum are within easy reach of the Apart'hotel and well worth the visit. While you're here, don't miss a trip to the famous Harrods departmental store. For a taste of the country in the heart of the city, you can follow what the Londoners enjoy - by gathering in Hyde Park especially in the summer to enjoy the good weather, concerts and picnics.
South Kensington itself is filled with many activities - boutiques, cinemas, theatres and restaurants mark this district. Watch a concert at the Royal Albert Hall or the ceremony of Changing the Guard at Buckingham Palace, just a short tube ride away. Upgraded for free! Business Trip
I was staying in the Citadines South Kensington before a big interview early the next day. Upon arrival I was greeted by very friendly staff, wished luck for the following day, and the offer of free coffee in the lobby throughout my stay.
I was upgraded from a simple studio (all rooms have kitchenettes and bathrooms so you are able to cook for yourself) to a spacious one bedroom apartment - for no extra cost! It was a two-up-two-down style apartment, lovely decor and was nice to feel so at home before a big day. Great facilities in the rooms, everything you could think of was there. Comfortable beds and a nice view of the high street outside.
I didn't get chance to use the fitness or business facilities due to my short stay however I found the hotel very quiet and I was not kept up by any noise. Check in and out were very swift, overall very impressed. Location was brilliant, a 5 minute walk from Gloucester Road tube station, with many cafes and restaurants in between. There is a Tesco Express by the station also, it is a lovely area.
I would 100% stay here again, felt completely at home and the staff were lovely.
This is my second stay at Citadines,we stayed here before touring around uk for 4weeks .it was lovely to walk through the door and be greeted by the lovely staff,always helpful always with a smile,room spotless quiet and comfortable complementary coffee.we are planning to come back next year and stay at Citadines,close to station,restaurants Kensington Palace,museums.thankyou for looking after us .

Lovely clean and pleasant hotel, staff really helpful
Love the quiet and cozy atmosphere of the place...the bedroom and sofabed enabled us to separate the kids from our room giving us some space to rest..free flow coffee by the door really helps when going out to town under these cold winter conditions....also enjoyed the use of the Handy Mobile device which can double up as a phone and used for web browsing...Mr.Michele was very helpful and so were all the other staff..I also like the fact that the Serpentine was near as it enabled me to go on a run...highly recommend this place for those planning to stay around Hyde Park
Its apartment hotel with good facilities n good llocation
It is the perfect accommodation for a stay in London, well fitted out, good transport, plenty of restaurants near by.
If you are looking for a no-frills, plain value for money accomodation in London, look no further. The Citadines Apartment Hotel offers comfortable accomodation in a great location. Within 10 minutes you are in High Street Kensington and Kensington Gardens or just down the road is Gloucester Road Tube station. Number 49 bus to Westfields shopping center stops right outside!! If you are looking for a 5-star London hotel the Citadines is not for you but his establishment is great for travellers on a budget and the service is exemplary.
I cannot say enough good things about the accommodations and excellent customer service at Citadines South Kensington. The 24 hour staff were always cherry and very helpful. The rooms -- totally budget friendly-- were actually quite lovely and clean and perfect for what we needed. Our studio deluxe fully equipped kitchen helped our budget too, by allowing us to dine in a few meals. Location is bar none-- this is a super posh and beautiful London neighborhood and it's close to everything. Thank you to all the staff at Citadines! You made our trip so memorable-- and we'll be back!!

Fabulous place to stay. 5 min walk from Gloucester Rd tube, 10 min walk to Hyde Park, Kensington, South Kensington.

Excellent room, very nice staff and a wonderful location.
Awesome staff all around. Two of the morning staff were French! I had the opportunity to practice my French with them! Room was perfect, a little small but enough for our family, kitchen with hot plate, dishwasher, fridge and dishes. Close to a major tube line, restaurants galore close by, museums. Not far at all from anything. Free coffee! Espresso machine in the lobby, caffe au lait, cappuccino, americano, hot chocolate....laundry in the basement. This was a great place to stay. Highly recommend.
Absolutely Brillant hotel.
Exceptional service -a very special mention to Michele and Christina who made us feel welcome, looked after us and for whom no request was too much trouble. They both made very helpful recommendations and were most engaging and utterly professional.
The location was superb and easily accessed from both Gloucester Street Underground Station and Queensgate bus stop. Our room on the 5th floor faced an internal street and thus away from street noise.
The rooms were very comfortable equipped with everything we needed including hair dryers.
The hotel as a laundry room with washers and dryers.
We felt at home, safe and within easy walking distance of many delightful nearby dinner spots.
We will most definatly return here and whats more it was priced exceptionally well.

Was a great base in London - easy walk through Kensington Gardens/Hyde Park to the city centre. Our room was basic but clean and the staff on reception were very helpful.
Lovely place to stay, very comfortable hotel. Wonderful with extremely helpful staff. Nice clean comfortable bed. Small clean kitchenette with two burners, microwave/ toaster/ oven, mini fridge and plates and cups and silverware. Perfect for a week or more stay. Nice closet. The little Partridges next door is convenient if your stomach doesn't do time changes well. The Waitrose is a bigger grocery store down the block right next to the Gloucester Road Station. Good location, next to nice shopping but a little ways away from the center of all the tourists stuff so it is quieter.
Great rooms good to be able to have own food, great locality close to bus & tube routes restaurants around have good food.
Great location, quiet yet right in the middle of Kensington. Very close to the tube and many places within walking distance.
Would not hesitate to come back here. Great value for the money. Friendly and helpful staff. No issue and no complaints!
