Our family-run company has operated passenger boats in Manchester for over 25 years and our two vessels, LS Lowry and Emmeline Pankhurst, are named after famous local people who were born, lived and worked in Manchester and Salford, the very areas we operate in.
Our restaurant and party boats cruise all year round for groups and individuals, providing unique venues to celebrate your occasion whilst discovering the world famous historic Manchester Ship Canal and Bridgewater Canal which in 2011 celebrated its 250th Anniversary.
During your privately chartered cruise you have the best views of the exciting waterside developments from Castlefield in Manchester City Centre to Salford Quays with a great view of Manchester United’s 'Theatre of Dreams’, Media City UK, home of the BBC in the north, The Lowry and the Imperial War Museum North.
Our restaurant and party boats provide the perfect venues to celebrate your occasion, which may be a Birthday, Hen Party, Anniversary or Corporate event that can be customised to your needs.

Historical Cruise : Next Wednesday
We have a limited number of tickets left for the Historical Cruise. Starting in the beautiful and historic Castlefield on the Bridgewater Canal, we set sail towards Pomona and then travel through a lock onto the Manchester Ship Canal to sail into Salford Quays, the home of Media City UK. An informative and entertaining commentary will be provided by the Captain as we sail and you will see the City in a way you haven't before!
The bar is open for refreshments throughout the cruise.

It's that day of the year we (football fans) all look forward too...and one of our busiest days as everyone block books their places for our 'Matchday Cruises'. Every Manchester United home game we have 100 seats available over both boats to take you to and bring you back from the game whilst you're drinking cold beers (other alcoholic beverages available). Travel to Old Trafford in style, and get dropped outside the stadium!

"I booked an 18th birthday party for my daughter with city centre cruises. A fantastic day was had by all! Easy efficient booking service. They had decorated the boat beautifully in advance. Couldn't fault the staff or the service we received. Everyone was welcoming and friendly. The food was delicious and great music was provided by the DJ. All in all a very enjoyable day and lovely memories created for my daughter on her special day. Thank you!!"

Well, you can privately hire our boats for your own event! Whether it's a celebration, party, some corporate we can accommodate you!
Both boats have a cash bar (we take cards too) and we can offer extras like a DJ, Food or Karaoke.

Picturesque sunset season is upon us, and we’re very lucky to see it happen most evenings along the Manchester Ship Canal! We’ve added a number of Sunday Dinner Cruises (530pm-830pm) so aside from enjoying a 3 course Sunday Dinner, you can experience the scenic skies over Salford and get some cracking photos! All of our Cruises depart from Castlefield Bowl, head down the Bridgwater Canal, through the Pomona Lock, sailing through Salford Quays to Media City and back to Castlefield!

"Went today, took my mum for her birthday had afternoon tea which was a selection of sandwiches, wraps, mini quiche, fresh warm scones with jam and cream, mini cakes, tea, and coffee. We had a lovely day the staff were very nice and friendly. I would definitely recommend to friends."
