City Cycle Hire

I rented a bike from City Cycle Hire for a year, and couldn't have been happier with the service. The bike was a great model and fitted with really useful accessories (pedal-powered lights and a really smart and quick-to-use lock) which made it perfect to use around town. The guys are super friendly, knowledgeable, and eager to help. I'll definitely be taking my new bike there for repairs!

I can't praise the guys at City Cycle Hire highly enough. One year long term rental with this company.. Professional, friendly, superb service. Communication was great, the bikes are in very good condition and we'll definitely be using them again.

Easy place to hire a bike. Good download of information by the team about the bikes. Good bikes as well. Pls note they don't accept credit cards for payments below £10 and that is a tad inconvenient.

We have used City Cycle Hire to hire around 20 bikes for our annual company cycle ride for the last few years and have always received excellent service. The staff are always friendly and helpful and are great at ensuring we are able to hire enough bikes on the day. On the day of hire all the bikes are ready and the staff help everyone get started on the bikes. The bikes themselves are always in good order and City Cycle Hire provide locks and helmets too. I would thoroughly recommend using them for cycle hire.

All the way from New Zealand, we arranged the hire of 2 bikes from City Cycle hire in Cambridge to go on the back of our camper van for a month's long UK tour. Everything about City Cycle Hire was first class. Communication prior to our pick up was superb, the pick up and explanation about the bikes was superb, the staff were superb and last but not least the bikes were exactly as described and perfect for us. City Cycle hire provides an excellent service, incredibly good value, and they are passionate about bikes.

Efficient and friendly service. Great bikes, with brilliant locks and great value for money. Tom was brilliant making sure seats and handle bars were set to the correct heights for my daughter and I. We even got a basket thrown in at no extra cost. We were able to take in so much of Cambridge. Highly recommend.

Friendly and helpful staff, bikes was great. Would recommend to anyone that loves bike riding and enjoys long rides. Good quality of money and nice paths to go round. Would recommend to come back again. 🙂🙂🙂

Cannot recommend highly enough! Lowest prices I have found in Cambridge for repairs, done very quickly and efficiently, also the chap is so friendly, really makes a difference when have such awesome customer service.

I rent bikes from City Cycle Hire every time I have guests in Cambridge and it's always been quick & easy, good value for money, and the bikes are good quality and well maintained. They're also my first point of call every time I need my own bike fixed, which happens frequently. They can normally do it the same day if I bring it in early enough and I've always been happy with their work. Plus, their prices are more than reasonable and the staff is always very friendly. Definitely worth 5 stars!

We are five male norwegian pensioners who have had a superb experience with this firm. Quick response to our mails, excellent service all over, very good bikes, very reason prices, no problems whatsoever with any of the five bikes. We spent four lovely days in Cambridge and surroundings, 120 miles in all. We can strongly recommend the firm to other cyclists!

We had a lovely experience cycling around Cambridge yesterday thanks to City Cycle Hire. They were really friendly, the bikes were excellently maintained and very comfy, with cushioned saddles and handles with palm support. They even fixed a basket onto the front of my bike for my bag. Also, the owner asked us what route we were thinking of doing and gave us pointers on routes to take around the Backs and roads to use with cycle paths. Overall, a totally fantastic experience! :)
