Last week, 50 people were killed in Friday’s terrorist attack on two mosques in New Zealand, Christchurch.
We acknowledge that this heinous, targeted, terrorist attack is a result of centuries of racist, anti-Muslim, anti-immigration rhetoric and the normalisation of Islamophobia. We stand in solidarity with the Muslim community and reiterate that Islamophobia and anti-Muslim hatred is not, and will never be tolerated on campus.
City Gray's Inn Society sends our condolences a...nd prayers of the deceased in Christchurch, the Muslim community and the wider community of New Zealand.
City Student’s Union will be holding a vigil to commemorate those who have lost their lives. Please find the details of the vigil below:

The City Law Review is hosting its annual launch event in collaboration with the City Law School with special guest speakers Lord Kerr, Justice of the Supreme Court and Dinah Rose QC, Deputy Judge of the High Court in attendance.... The evening will celebrate the Law Review's accomplishments, will host a writer symposium as well as have the Dean of the Law School award two writers "The Writer's Award for Excellence" and the "BCLP Writer Diversity Award". Among guests will be sponsors BCLP and Henderson Chambers, as well as other notable chambers and firms. The event will be followed by a drinks reception.
