I think this school in London is good for all boys to go to and to learn new things because you go to school to learn not just to have fun you work

The City of London School, also known as CLS and City, is an independent day school for boys in the City of London, England, on the banks of the River Thames next to the Millennium Bridge, opposite Tate Modern. It is a partner school of the City of London School for Girls and the City of London Freemen's School. All three schools receive funding from the City's Cash. It is a member of the Headmasters' and Headmistresses' Conference (HMC).

I love it .The mainstream regarding the school that is the place where strict rules are applied to impart education. Many schools exhibit such an example. But as the world is growing, there are developing new methodologies for teaching. Now schools are evolving are spreading education in a new way.. It is a perfect example of modern and old education as well as of architecture. There are two buildings of my schools. One is old, an example of 20th-century art. And the other is a new well-furnished building. The motley of new and old campuses make my school one of the best schools in my city.

Best school in the world, made me who I am today. Lucky to go there.

My son went to CLS from 13 years old to 18. It changed his life. This school is the best I have come across. It was outstanding both academically and in terms of personal development.

I witnessed the incident mentioned by Matthew Jones (on 9 May 2016). I didn't even know that there was a school there until I heard the student yelling insults out the window. Schoolboys yelling at passers-by - definitely not the kind of school I would want my son's associated with.

I was walking across the Millennium Bridge at about 3pm this afternoon when I noticed that there was a group of people very obviously praying between the school and the bridge. A group of pupils were watching and laughing at them from the top floor, then one shouted out of the window “Go back to the stone age!”. All this friends thought that that was hilarious. No matter your religious inclination that is not the kind of behaviour schools should allow - especially in multi-cultural London!

Friend of mine was a pupil there, loved it and keeps in touch with his old school buddies.
The building on Queen Victoria Street is no longer occupied by the school but by an investment bank and it is a Grade II listed building.
What fine architectural style built like a grand French Chateau designed by Davis and Emanuel in the Victoria Era.
Of great interest are the statues carved high up on the walls from left to right.
Bacon
Shakespeare
Milton
Newton.
I f you look closely the details of carving is incredibly detailed.
A real 'stand-out' building facing the River Thames

Great school. My son started there in OG (Year 6) last September and loves it. Kids are bright, parents are friendly and the teaching seems excellent. Doesn't matter what you are into (music, sport etc.) they seem to cater for it. Although it's a private school, it's a lot less snobby than some state schools - especially some of the Grammar schools.
