City Rooms

Four years with cityrooms. Well I am the perfect person to share my experience. By 2013 I moved to one of their properties in Canary Wharf, just like any other property we had some issues here and there but always cityrooms responded promptly. My last two years in a property next Royal Docks was amazing, I made great friends and I didn't have one issue whatsoever.

Its time for me to move on and I am leaving with a great taste from this agency.

Great experience with cityrooms. All my dealings went well. I did struggle in London finding a place to live until I found them.

It went easy for me as my agent was from my home country so he explained me everything very well.

I don't believe a word of what some people say here. I find cityrooms very reliable and also friendly. People need to read the contract first otherwise how do you claim not to know what you signed? Doesn't make sense.

I have been tenant for nine months, my room is located in a council building and of course I knew what I was getting into, but the location worked great for me. I have reported the washing machine, the pressure in hot water also some issues with one of my flatmates as he was smoking inside the property. I can assure you that cityrooms dealt with everything in a quickly and I didn't have to wait long for things to get better.

I will renew my contract very soon definitely

Terrible agency! Try to avoid I so angry on my self that I didn't read pay attention to reviews! I will gave just a few moments form my experience with this terrible institution ( I don't want to call it agency even).
1. They do pay attention to tenants we had a problem with internet and water heater and they fixed that only after 4-5 months. Them respond was that they was going some special commission which never appeared in our house.
2. Be careful with that all included bills, contract ! They will going to charge you with other use of electricity and gas. We had a problem that one tenant was cooking inside his room and was using electricity , we tried to argue with agency but they just don't give a s*it.
3.Deposit refund it will long way to get it back you need to email them all the time for refunds of deposit plus they going charge to "Service charge: £30.00(checkout inventory fee Contract 14 page 9)".

In conclusion try avoid this agency! Terrible service and no respect for costumer.

Alfonso was really friendly and helpful, regularly checked up to make sure everything was okay. Can pay rent and deposit online which makes things easier. Took a long time to collect keys from the Stratford office but think the office was just busy that day. Thank you for your help!

Amazing stay had by my family over from Barbados.
All thanks to Mr. Alfredo.N for making this all possible for our family reunion.... all my requests were considered with absolute great customer care.
The property was beautiful and spacious in Stratford where we all often met up for lunch, shopping then of to visit tourist attractions not too far away with lots of recommendations to suit us.
Very affordable and beautiful, il be booking with City Rooms again for the family over from the USA.

Excellent choice.

I rented a room with Cityrooms for 8 months and I enjoyed the stay. The room is located in King's Cross. All amenities and main attractions were within walking distance. The facilities in the house were very sufficient such as kitchen, cooking & dining utensils, large fridge (enough space for everyone). I recommend, especially if you really need a place urgently.

It's so far the worst agency company I had to deal with so far. City room sales agent make you any promises you need to hear.. but they will never respect or accomplish them.
Don't think they are getting better or changing their method. They are looking for easy money and that's all. Quality of service and clients interest is never their priority. Please take advice of the message. If you can avoid city room please do it. Otherwise you have 90% of chance to be disappointed. I will never recommend this company to anyone.

Worst leggings agency in the industry, wouldn't even give them 1-star, they should be fined for fraudulent behavior. They will force you to sign, and pay up front even to see a property. Not only incompetent, mixing up my tenancy with other tenancys. They are dishonest, caused damage to my room after I had moved out, added false charges for a dirty mattress, these thieves took most of my deposit, and have done the same to many others since. This caused me, and my friend much hardship, especially since we had just moved to London. My recommendation is to steer clear of these dishonest agents. I write 7 months after my tenancy with them finished. Luckily I will never let through "City Rooms" again, and they cannot steal more from me.

****If you see a positive review here, it's likely one of the City Rooms agents creating a Google account in 5-minutes, and posting a review. I guess they have some time on their hands when they're "not responding to emails", and "making up fraudulent claims on tenants".

I have been a client of Jorge Sanchez at City Rooms since 2015 - I don't ever start my search for my next apartment without him. He knows London like the back of his hand, has great connections throughout the market, and is a real friend and partner in the search process. I worked directly with Jorge from City Rooms and he has definitely earned my full confidence. I was moving up from Bristol and he made the whole process of finding a place so much easier. if I can give no star, I would do it. Their services are very very terrible. The staffs don't care about the tenants welfare at all. My 1 year experience with them, I have called many and many time for help because something was broken in my room(before I moved in). They promised to come and take care of it, but they never came. Also, the deposit that I was supposed to get, they deducted with some costs that weren't part of my fault. And, everything I require always takes too long. Everyone who is looking to come here, DONT!!!! you will surely have a bad experience trust me!
