A fantastic, silly panto based on The Little Shop of Horrors. Flora’s Flower shop is in deep debt with threats from Bill and Ben the bailiff’s. Flora’s son Seymour tries to save the business by creating an exotic plant to draw customers back in. Meanwhile in outer space, things are happening that will have their own effect on Flora’s shop! Garth Vadar the evil enforcer is searching for the renegade Duke Skyrunner as the action moves to Butlin’s Holiday camp on Mars where we see a space version of Britain’s got talent!

ReAct Academy of Theatre Arts are holding their first get-togethers for their next show, Musical ReActions on Sunday 27th January. New members are very welcome. Musical ReActions is a concert which is jam-packed with excerpts from the best musicals shows, old and new. The show will be fully costumed with professional staging, lighting and sound - a brilliant experience for all young theatre enthusiasts.
All those aged 4-11 years old should attend the Juniors rehearsal at 12-2...pm and 11-20 year olds attend the Seniors rehearsal at 2.30-5pm.

Dan Leno - A Royal Jester!
This exciting new play charts the life of Dan Leno who developed his skills as an artist in the Northern and Lancashire Music Halls and became a champion clog dancer, acrobat and comedian. He then went on to become a huge celebrity in the London theatres and established his name as the pre-eminent pantomime star at the Theatre Royal, Drury Lane, where he created some iconic dame roles, and became a favourite of King Edward VII and the Royal family.

The Fabulous medium Gail Bittner is back this June! This event usually sells out so please book early to avoid disappointment.

We were there to see a theatre presentation of Brassed Off. Play was magnificent but the whole experience was excellent and this is an extremely good venue. All staff were helpful and professional and I would wholeheartedly recommend you to visit them in the future!

We went to the gruffalo (myself with my 1yr and 7yr old children), it was a fantastic event. My daughter who has allergies to milk and egg was so pleased with her food bag which was specially made according to her needs and made her feel included and just like her brother and all the children. It's great to visit somewere with an understanding of the importance of allergies. This was out first visit to the theatre n most defiantly not the last........see you at the stick man x

We completed The Mystery of the Star-Eaters adventure game today and it was fantastic really good couple of hours doing something different, glad the rain disappeared! Thanks to all the people who were involved today and helped us out when we were stuck!! Me and my Mum had a great time...will definately do this again if you run another �

We attended the Scarecrows Wedding today and the kids loved every minute. It was well organised and the staff/actors did an amazing job keeping the kids entertained. My daughter has coeliac disease and the staff made absolutely sure she was catered for but most important they had the knowledge of what her needs were. They provided alternatives for her and all I can do is say a massive thank you to you all. She is often left without at things she attends. Today she was fully included. We will absolutely be back. Thank you for everything.

Watched the upbeat Beatles here yesterday with my dad and we had a fab time! The group were great, drinks reasonable, food courtesy of encore pop up catering was excellent. Very impressed - thanks for a great night

The Civic Arts centre is a magical place catering for all ages. The staff are absolutely amazing if you have not had the pleasure of experiencing the civic check whats on and give it a go

Really great venue to hold events, recently held a Mini First Aid Adult Class here and the response was excellent. Lauren in particular was extremely helpful. Looking forward to running our next classes here for children in August.

Our daughter has been to the Prince and Princess and Mickey Mouse play in a week during the school holidays. She has really enjoyed both weeks and the shows they have produced in a week with children aged 4-17 years have been fantastic. The week has cost £35 which is brilliant.

I would highly recommend the Summer events at the Civic theatre. Our daughter has loved it so much we are now going to send her to the Little Munchkins drama club on a Monday night.

Our daughter had elsa and rapunzel surpirse visit to her party which we hired through the theatre. She was thrilled to bits and we was Over the moon with what we got. Fab service from start to finish. A full hour with them and there chaperone who was there to ensure all went smoothly for there visit and nothing was 2 much trouble. They did meet and great prince and Princess etiquette party game's and dances sang with everyone with her birthday cake and then handed out party bags at the end of the party for us as well as posed for pics. Really can not recommened enough will definitely use again. Xxxx

Oswaldtwistle theatre, what an amazing experience to go and see a show up close and personal. I have been a few times now and have found the staff very pleasant and helpful . Have been to watch Jason Manford comedy club here a couple of times and seen great new up and coming comedians as well as Jason Manford last night John Bishop was on stage . A great family atmosphere. Look forward to coming back to see more shows and entertainment.

My Son and I have been attending messy play on Friday morning for the last 7 month.

We would just like to say a huge thank you to Emma who runs the group.We have thoroughly enjoyed every minute of it. The end of an era as he is now getting to big now. We wish you all the luck and love in the world. Xx

I went to see don't panic last night and enjoy the performance the staff very helpful that much so I gone and book to see 3 more event that are coming .

I love this Arts centre . The comedy nights are second to none , the staff are fabulously friendly with a warm welcome as you walk through the door . They have had some top acts appearing here and you're within talking distance of them ! I am going to try and make sure I visit this Theatre more frequently in future as they secure more diverse acts and activities and no , I am not a paid member of staff - just an appreciative member of the public who visits from Darwen x

I have been to the Civic Theatre so many times and always have a fab time! They have such a wide range of shows, I've seen everything from Stop the Train, to mediums to Forbidden Nights and have taken part in an Escape Room so there really is something for everyone. I came to see It's a Wonderful Life last night and just wanted to feedback on how much we all enjoyed it - very professional and the perfect way to kick off the Christmas festivities! Well done to everyone who was involved �

I brought my girls to the Stickman Party at 1:30 on 24th September, I was kept fully informed by great communication for any queries I had from booking months ago to being sent details without requesting them about the event and parking etc. We all had a fantastic time, the girls especially. Thankyou for a very well organised event. I would definitely come again and will be recommending you ❤️��

Fantastic show today!! Took my little boy and my mum to the Gruffalo's tea party we all really enjoyed it! All cast where superb and the narrator was great she was so jolly and friendly and got all the kids dancing and having a good time. Was really impressed we got to have a photo taken with the Gruffalo, snake, fox, owl and mouse aswel. Would recommend to everyone see you again soon for Stickman!!
