PPI who can claim on what?
PPI was an often hidden insurance product added to financial agreements up until 2009. It cost roughly 25% of your loan, 10% of your mortgage payment per month or £50 per month per £5000 of your credit card balance so the average claim works out over £2500. It was in effect a fake insurance so even if you knew about it you can claim.

Whilst I understand I could have looked into the whole PPI claim system myself, I just knew I wouldn't get round to doing it so I found Civil Claim Services online and am so glad I did. Alice Bingham has been my account manager and has kept in contact with me every step of the way. So far I have received 1 refund from Barclays and another on it's way from NatWest/RBS. I have no problem paying CCS the 25% of anything they find for me as it's money I had written off in the first place and they are being thorough. I only pay them a percentage of what is refunded to me. A great service; thank you Alice. I will be giving your number to many of my friends. :-)

Like other reviews I had been getting hounded by cold callers from other companies regarding PPI and was very wary of being cold called and didn’t sign up with them.



I decided to do an on line search myself and It seemed Civil Claims had good reviews so decided to bite the bullet and make contact . The initial information was clear and didn’t seem too onerous. I was informed that it would be up to me if I decided to go ahead and that I would not be pestered by calls and true to their word they left it up to me. Once the forms are completed and sent in you can request regular updates or you will be contacted if they need further info. Civil claims respond to e-mail or phone calls very quickly and take time to explain what is going on.



To be honest I didn’t think I’d had any PPI but thought why not see and lo and behold apparently I had and just received a payment this week for one of my Claims. Civil Claims are still working on some other Claims for me so Im sure they will work very hard

I would never of looked into PPI myself so decided to use Civil Claims. After numerous questions and reconfirming that it was no PPI then no fee I filled in the forms and have just had a successful claim through. Made up. Sophie who has been dealing with my claim has been really helpful. % for fee is quite high but if it was left to me I would never of done it.

I was one of the sceptics, "what's the point in applying". After a bit of ear bashing from the Missus "you've got nothing to lose" and there's now a deadline, I decided to give it a try.



I looked through the reviews online. This company was in the top 5, and with acceptable fees, so I got in touch. I received the claims pack promptly, completed whatever information I had available and sent it back. The paperwork was really straightforward,



I was assigned a claims handler "Lee", who gave me a call and clearly explained the process, what to expect, "it may take time", the fees etc. so I sat back and waited.



Out of the blue I received a call from Lee, he sounded really happy, with good reason, i'd received a payout. He genuinely sounded pleased for me. Little was I to know this wasn't the only call i'd receive, awesome.



I also spoke with Ellie, she sent me status updates on my claims and was also able to help with any questions I had. All the staff are so helpful, and at the end of the phone if I have a question.



I could probably have done this without using a company, but I reckon if I hadn't found civil claims I may not have bothered, they just made it so simple.

I haven't got a clue when it comes to something like PPI and how to find out if I was missold it, so after looking around for a decent company I came across Civil Claim Services. They have really good feedback and by far NOT the most expensive when it came to the fee's.They were very helpful with everything, and were on the end of the telephone with any query i needed answering.They did a great job and I got back PPI that I wasn't sure that I would even get. I had seen the adds for ppi but always thought that wasn’t me: then I had a letter from the bank informing me of my annual payment of ppi. Let’s be honest I wasn’t going to sort this myself, but Sophie was very helpful and after a short wait I am much better for it. Definitely worth it

I had been considering claiming PPI for a long time but had been put off by the cold calling companies and high fees some were charging. However, after reading the reviews on Facebook I decided to contact this company. The company was easy to contact and promptly sent the forms to me. I completed the forms and returned them to my claims handler Sophie who has been excellent from the start. Sophie has kept me updated with my claim throughout the procedure. I would thoroughly recommend this company.

I got onto Civil Claim Services through the Martin Lewis website, even though he is a great advocate of doing it yourself, he did put forward 2 companies to use if you felt it would need a bit more dedication in time or you found it all to confusing. Some forms I have seen ask the same question in 30 different ways.

I contacted Civil Claims and was given a case handler (Sarah Currie) who has been an absolute star. It makes a nice change to have only the one person to deal with instead of a different voice every time you ring and have to explain it all from the start, Sarah makes you feel at ease while being totally professional at the same time, guiding you through the welcome pack and assuring and updating you as things progress.

I know I have had a couple of PPI's with Lloyds but they are dismissive and really do drag their feet on resolving issues. I had made a couple of tentative inquiries with other companies, all be it by phone and was told there was no PPi involved, turns out there was PPI involved in both cases, which absolutely justifies using Civil Claim Services, how many others have been fobbed off?
