Visited as guests to very good friends the food was good and the alcohol was very reasonable and the surroundings excellent.

The Civil Service Club is a safe haven in central London. The food and drink is first class, as are the staff. The Club provides a relaxed atmosphere with plenty of events to enjoy.

Thank you Chris and Anna for giving us another wonderful evening on Wednesday. All of our 54 guests thoroughly enjoyed their dinner - great food and great services. We'll definitely book your venue again

Great place to relax and unwind. Good food, beers and wine with helpful staff to look after you.

Great club to use. The staff is great good food and beer. They have a great restaurant and good selection of wine.

Great ambiance and surroundings, reasonably price food and excellent wines. Would be improved if you could get internet access in this subterranean venue!

Every time I dine here the food is absolutely amazing so all praise to the chef. The staff in the dining room are professional yet lovely and friendly too. The standard is comparable to any of the high end London restaurants yet the prices are so reasonable. If you've never dined here you are really missing out.

Cracking place , clean, comfortable, cheap beer, nice staff, good atmosphere..... great to find a decent place in the centre of London without getting ripped off 🇬🇧🇬🇧🇬🇧🇬🇧

A lovely plate of fish and chips with peas in the bar for 5 of us yesterday. And a delightful caramel roulade and cream for pud. Best meal I've had for ages. Fish was very large and perfectly cooked. Highly recommended.

A great club, well run helpful staff. A great comedy night. Will become a full time member. The bar maids know there stuff, and Alice there was really helpful the other week in choosing drinks

A friendly atmosphere, good food and a well stocked bar. I liked it so much I have applied to become a member as I qualify on two counts. I'm ex army, and ex BT. I might also qualify on a third count as I'm also an ex London Ambulance Driver. But you only need to meet one criteria to be eligible.

It is a great venue and very friendly but please can we have more vegetarian food on the menu!

Great venue in a central location. Food excellent and staff first class. Whether you want a bar meal downstairs or a meal in the restaurant on the first floor - both are highly recommended. If you are eligible, I strongly recommend becoming a Member to enjoy all the facilities. Although I have not used the accommodation myself, there are rooms available at a reasonable rate.

Good place to stay. Been out for evening and got back to club to find that on a Saturday night it was last orders at 10.30. !!! No cocktails and bar almost empty. Is it surprising if the bars stopped serving? Is this central london when we've come down from sleepy suffolk for a nice weekend ? Oh well, the room is comfortable so I guess its bedtime.

A bit dated and tired. Far far to hot everywhere. Great service from all the staff. We will stay again but please drop the heating down a few degrees.

We chose to have the Steak and Kidney pie with chips and veg in the bar, very nice it was too.
