Went with my little one that had free face painting and fantastic carnival dancing she had the best afternoon thank you..... One that I was unhappy about was the cash machine charged £2 to take money out (joke)

User

Great place for bargains and it's free parking! It's been revamped at the moment but,"its business as usual!"

We'll worth a visit if you're in the area.

User

Good for shopping , has a good Burger King where they queue out the door , they love burgers in clacton

User

Less shops now but more visitors. I mainly visit for Pavers and Home Bargains, but there are plenty of other shops. I like to finish off my shopping with a lush latte at Harry's. The outlet is well worth a visit. There is something for everyone and plenty of free parking.

User

Seemed a bit run down from last visit!but might be it was wintertime and picks up in summer bit like High Streets

User

Nice place for a day out if going to Clacton, but wouldn't go there usually to shop

User

We live locally and are disappointed that the we now have less shops open than we did before the refurbishment. Great that we can park actually in the centre which is a plus. We stopped at Harrys for coffee the oh my goodness the service is so slow, we waited 15 minutes for two coffees & t wasn't even busy, we have been before and knew not to order food that could have been a much longer wait. Also someone with a cloth and a broom could make a real difference to the experience of having lunch outside. We would visit a lot more if there were shops to look around. Not overly impressed I'm afraid.

User

Visited today. Seems to have lost its soul and atmosphere with the centre part missing and a couple of good stores now not there at all. Although I know quite a lot of units were empty, just demolishing the whole lot seems rather drastic. For example there must have been some way to keep the original benches and kids play area, possibly by the information centre?

Unfortunately it just seems like any other retail park now.

User

You have ruined this shopping centre! No play equipment for the kids, no way of keeping kids safe from the car park which is right next to the shops now. At least with the old layout it felt like you were away from the traffic and was safer. Now it just feels like any other soulless shopping street. And a lot of the shops have gone. The old site had a bit of character, unlike the new one. And who measured out the parking spaces???? All the cars are crammed in which makes it difficult to enter and exit a vehicle. With the amount of available spaces in the old car park surely you could've spaced the new car park out a bit better. All in all, absolute rubbish. Will not be shopping there anymore.

User

What a waste of space. It's always been bad and now they've made it worse. A huge carpark with 10 odd shops. Good one

User

Like the easy access now , but sadly there are less shops than before the refit !

User

Just a car park and a few out of town shops, not worth the fuel to travel the 15 miles to get there.

User

Its such a shame that clacton shopping outlet is ruined now it was much better before what idiots! wanted to change it the car park is very dangerous if you got small children and they cant play in that area now as their play area is gone. It looks awfull now too really boring looking not many shops looks just like a common little high street it had such character before and looks nice now its bloody awful such a shame.

User

Bloody aweful. And wont go back. Who decided to demolish half if it and build a car park??! Bit like a row of shops on a layby. Sad as it used to be lovely with load of places to stop of for a coffee and more shops. No wonder everyone is shoping is on line
