Very true, very first thing or very last thing if a walk is needed but it is not the end of the world if they miss out when its this hot!! :)
Looking forward to this at 7 tonight! I would definitely recommended watching if thereβs anything about electro therapies you would like to know!
Super excited to bring these into my practice for my patients suffering with OA. I love being able to work alongside all other therapists (vets, acupuncturists, chiropractors, massage therapists, hydrotherapists etc etc) to deliver an all rounded service for my patients and these will make it very easy to deliver information to every member of the team! #caninearthritismanagement #osteoarthritis #yourdogmoreyears #multidisciplinaryteam
This is our solution for a dog with a high ball drive- hide a ball in a field and play 'find it' = one tired happy dog!!
These make my tummy turn but are becoming more and more common.... as are elbow problems :( Having a dog with a high ball drive myself, I understand how much our dogs love to chase after a ball, however nothing is beneficial to anyone when repeated over, and over, and over again. When I ask a lot of owners, it turns out many of their dogs (like my own) are more than happy to carry their ball out on walks instead of chasing after it on repeat... food for thought?
Meet Sita! She is my travel companion to London today (and her mum!) What breed do you think she is? πΆ
Amazing video showing clearly how horses propel themselves over jumps with the power house muscles in the hind limb! Shows why it is important to keep the hind limb muscle groups strong and prevent horses pulling themselves along! What a jumper!!!
This gorgeous boy is Red, he has been coming for both Physiotherapy and hydrotherapy for a forelimb condition for some time. Not long ago we noticed that he was beginning to lose awareness in his back legs so he and his owner have been working very hard and he has come a long way. Today he did this exercise with no issues as you can see!! #proudphysio
It has been a busy few days but today was exciting as Dino started hydro at Meadow Farm Hydrotherapy and he was great!! πΆ (also just realised his coat is on inside out π)
I think this little dude enjoyed his treatment his morning! Unfortunately I had to wake him up to get into the treadmill π
A very late happy new year to all my wonderful clients past and present! I have just got back from my holiday and I will be responding to emails and messages today ππΆπ΄
Iβd like to introduce you all to Dino! He will be staying with us for 5 months while his dad goes competing for team GB snowboard team all winter! He will also be undertaking a course of Physiotherapy and hydrotherapy to improve his hind limb strength and overall mobility! Keep posted for updates on Dinoβs progress.... he is pretty gorgeous if I do say so myself! πΎπ ππππππππ

Whatβs your dogs name? ππΆ
A lot of people ask me if I think these are any good and my answer is always along the lines of βif it works for youβ but this is very interesting!
