just this minute finished : I Let You Go.

Fabulous suspense and intensity, never once felt that it was over done, strong characters that were easy to like and identify with, (with an exception of course!!) . enjoyed the realistic police procedures that werent sloppy or lazy. Keep writing Clare, you have abother new fan here! best wishes.

User

back to back read I let you go and i see you, first time reading your books (sorry I'm late to the party but got recommended them by a friend) and I couldn't put them down. All the amazing twists and turns had me shouting at my kindle and staring in disbelief at the screen throughout. Loved Loved Loved them and have recommended to friends to read too. xx

User

a friend just sent me a box of books and 2 of them were yours-i just finished I LET YOU GO...for me, it started a little s l o w...but got 'really good' and tonight, i'm starting I SEE YOU-i love the way you write!

User

Wonderful author. So enjoyed ' I let you go ' gripping and just could not put it down. Can't wait to get my hands on one of her next books. Highly recommend Clare. Fantastic! X

User

Usually I find books hard to get into..not this one. Great book that keeps you thinking...loved the sensitive approach to MH and family violence and the realistic representation of life and work as a police officer

User

Refreshingly unique in the way characters are presented and plots are evolved. No predictable cliches here! Delightful twists and turns that create the urgent need to keep reading and to question preconcieved ideas. Entirely believable characters whose actions and thoughts grow from disturbingly familiar bases.

Thank you Clare....may you be a prolific and fast writer!!

User

Just finished let me lie every one of Clare's books have kept me guessing right to the end you think you know what is happening but you don't. I am not a prolific reader of books but I am always interested in when this author's next book is out. So Clare what date us your next out ........?

User

Just finished Let Me Lie and all I can say is brilliant. I loved the characters, especially Murray and his life good to see the ex-policemans life rather than just his job. I read a lot of crime novels but didn't guess the ending at all, had me totally gripped. Carry on the good work, can't wait for the next book!

User

Just finished Let Me Lie and I Let You Go. Both brilliant but I was so dumbfounded by the ending of let me lie that I had to go back and reread some parts of it. I’m planning on reading it again to read it knowing what I know now! Claire Mackintosh I heard you say on the radio that the plot in one of your books changed because of the difference between a colon and semi colon, can you give a clue on what that was without giving anything away to those yet to read it?

User

Just finished Let Me Lie - superb! As another reviewer said, these books get better and better. Loved I Let You Go, then read I See You straight afterwards. Crime fiction has not really been on my radar before but this type of writing has made me change my view! Thanks Clare, keep them coming!

User

I just finished readying Let Me Lie. I normally read autobiographies and true life stories but I heard Clare being interviewed on the Graham Norton radio show and thought I'd download her book to my kindle. So glad I did as it was a great read with lots of unexpected twists. Her writing is very easy to read and her characters jump off the page.... Highly recommended... Thanks Clare xx

User

I have read 3 of your books now and each one absolutely fantastic. Just finished let me lie, I didn’t guess any of the twists and had a small cry at a certain part! Can’t wait to read more of your work.

User

Having been off work recovering from an operation I needed something to read and I picked up “let me lie” it was fantastic and I couldn’t put it down. Not my usual type of reading but I’m converted. Have went on to read the other 2. All fantastic reads. Now I have a big hole to fill!! Can’t wait for future books!!

User

User

All week I was reading I Let You Go and then I See You. I really liked both. I hope to read lots more of your books. Thank you for a great read.

User

"I Let You Go" is the best page-turner I have read in a very long time. I have

recommended it to many friends, and we all feel the same. The ending....well,

there had to have been other possibilities! I think the author wanted it left to

the reader's imagination.

User

I've just finished i see you and I'm thrilled by your style. I only have three things to complain about: 1. The use of punctuation; 2. I would have loved to see Zoe and Matt back together, especially Zoe wishing him to come back in her life; 3. I would have loved to see Zoe ... er ... passing gas. I KNOW from your face that you are a very polite person and of course you don't want to write about such things; but, you see, this would have made your characters more real, Which is Something especially important for Zoe because she is the protagonist and she is Almost Always present in the novel. In addition, farts would have given important informations about Zoe's personality and nurture (if she only farted in her bathroom, we would understand that she is rather shy and very polite; if she farted in public, we would understand that she's not a very caring person): Thanks anyway for absolutely thrilling me and delighting me with all your characters, Which are absolutely perfect except For what I already mentioned (you even made me HATE Graham for asking Zoe to come to work even though she was ill (do you remember?). THANK YOU CLARE MACKINTOSH!
