Clarks

This place is terrible. I would give no stars if i could. The staff are so poor. I bought school shoes for my daughter and they fell apart after a few wears and the store refused to refund me saying i could only exchange but there werent any in her size. Another occasion we waited 45 mins to be served, the girl who eventually served us took ages but we finally found some shoes, i was then told she was only a trainee so i would need to wait again for another member of staff to check her measurements. At this point my three year old had really had enough as i had i so we walked out.
I went again this weekend only because there aren't any other shoes shops in woking that fit childrens shoes. Again i got a trainee who had no idea what he was doing. He said the boots for my daughter were fine, the senior came and checked and said to go up a size which we did, she wore then today for half an hour and has blisters!
I will be going back again to complain and not leaving until i get a refund. ps when the guy measured her feet and told me her size he said 'can you try and remember that because i have a really bad memory' UNBELIEVABLE!!!

We're a family of 5 who buy most of our shoes at Clarks. Until today!
We were in the Woking store at 5.25pm looking for school shoes for my daughter. She found the ones she wanted and picked them up to have a closer look. When showing me a shop assistant walked up to us and took them out of her hands putting them back on the shelf saying they were restocking the shelves.
I pointed out that we were looking at the Shoes wanting to buy them. To this she replied "you can't touch the shoes. If you want some you must point at them and tell us what size you want and we will get them for you" Then she walked off.
I asked for the manager who was just as rude and had no interest whatsoever in selling us the shoes or apologising... To my reply that we won't be buying shoes there again she smiled and said "OK".
Needless to say we will NOT go back to Clarks again.

Phoned today with an enquiry, polite and helpful service.

This store is just great at making their regular customers feel unappreciated and provide a lousy customer service(!)
They sell you dirty shoes when you buy them and for some reason you decide to return them later on within the 28 days of purchase (due to terrible blisters and unfit size) they refuse to accept them back saying " they have been worn! "
Of course they have been worn! you leave them on the shelves and many people try them on and wear them inside your dusty floor everyday prior to the purchase! SERIOUSLY! DON'T BOTHER!

I've been a regular loyal customer throughout the years and to receive such poor service it's just beyond belief.
I'm never coming back to that joke of a shop and rather go buy my shoes from the shop next door (Deichmann).
Congratulations Clarks, you've just lost a decent customer for life... Learn from this unless you want to lose more...
