Good shop, good service, good staff, good products

I have read the other reviews and I can only report on my personal experience with this particular store. I visited there early on a Saturday morning and I tried on several pairs of shoes, the assistant was extremely helpful, dashing up and down the stairs until we were both satisfied with a pair which I then purchased. I also ordered another pair which I collected from the Store the following week. I can only say that I had no problems with my experience at the store. The staff were very helpful and polite.....

Ordered 7 pairs of shoes online and took 6 back to the Clarks Romsey store. An older assistant (probably late 40s) started smirking and shaking her head whilst not making eye contact with me. She even tried to involve other customers in the store. I was made to feel extremely uncomfortable and asked why I was getting funny looks and if it was unusual for a customer to bring back shoes to their store which have been bought online. Absolutely no response from any of the 4 assistants in the shop. Appalling attitudes and dreadful customer service. Give them a miss!
