In light of the current situation, I will be carrying out the following small measures in hope you will be comfortable having me work in your gardens 1) I will wear gloves at all times 2) I will provide my own drink via a flask 3) At the end of each working day I will use a cleaning wipe on all handles, surfaces etc 4) I will inform you immediately if I feel unwell, develop a fever or cough.... 5) If you have a list you can send it to me via message or email or we can talk over the phone.

First cut of the season, beds manicured and list completed: FROM REAR OF HOUSE -LEFT HAND BORDER Rosesx2 prune by half Leave all grasses Cut back all perennials... Leave Melianthus Cut Penstemon by half
ROSE BORDERS OPPOSITE Cut back Perovskia by half
LEFT HAND BORDER FURTHER ALONG PATH Cut back all perennials including Maclaeya Cut back Penstemon by half Leave grasses
RIGHT HAND BORDER - WOODLAND Clear ivy around dead tree so as the climbing Rose & Clematis can take priority, at present there is too much competition. Tie in both. Tidy Brunera & Ferns Cut off all leaves from Helebores on the left to encourage flowers.
BORDER WITH SILVER PEAR Cut back perennials / Echinops / Helianthus Prune Roses appropriately Leave Fuschia
BORDER UNDER LARGE SYCAMORE Prune Rosa Regosas by a 1/3rd Cut out dead flower stems from Euphorbias Cut off all Helebore leaves
BORDER WITH MAGNOLIA Cut back perennials Prune Roses appropriately Take away stake from Magnolia Prune Wisteria extension growth/ non flowering growth.
