We had our wedding ceremony & reception at The Crown in July this year. We had a fantastic day from the moment I arrived in the wedding car I was helped inside as sadly it was raining but the staff were on hand with umbrellas. There was someone on hand all day right up until 2am when we finished up. The food was fantastic and everyone was amazed how wonderful it was considering how many people we had our wedding the service nor the food could be faulted at all. Alot of our family and friends took up the offet of special room rate and all enjoyed their stay especially the breakfast, we didnt make breakfast as was so tired but would recommend anyone looking for a venue to pick The Crown, Cricklewood. A massive thank you to all the staff that helped myself and my new Husbands day special.

User

We had an amazing stay at the clayton crown hotel for our anniversary. The hotel staff upgraded our room to a junior suite, plus delivered a bottle of processco and balloon and card. We were really touched by this. We ate at the grill restaurant and we could not fault the food. The staff were really friendly and helpful. We will highly recommend the hotel to our friends and family.

User

The whole atmosphere and the decor of the hotel is absolutely gorgeous.but I must point out that when you have a function on you need to cater for the number of people and have the bar well stocked also more members of staff on especially with a large function

User

Overall 5 stars! Loved the food & Pub spaces, really comfortable. Staff was all nice and upbeat. Only criticism was the bar seemed understaffed many times while we stayed for the week. Weekends seemed they were able to manage better, a lot more people seemed to be available. Room 401 was amazing, great city views, large room & bathroom. My husband and I have always stayed more central London and our friend who lives a few blocks away from the hotel recommended to us this hotel. We have decided to come back on our next trips. We come to London once or more a year & it’s only an uber around to where we want to go, so for the value it’s great! Coming from a tourist town myself Monterey, California, I know quality hotels and value. Cheers!

User

Nice and warmth welcome from the front desk. Very helpful staff. Great location(useful tip: use Thameslink train to St.Pancras!!!) Cozy rooms, nice neighborhood in Cricklewood. Nice price rooms. Everything was great! Breakfast medium +, porridge was my favorite

User

I stayed in the Clayton Crown Hotel in Cricklewood and was very impressed with the. Hotel and hotel staff.

I attended a family wedding and the food was excellent both for the wedding and for breakfast.

The staff in reception were very helpful and friendly as were all the staff throughout the hotel.

I had a wonderful experience overall and would definitely recommend it.

We had lunch in the bar and it was not as good as the wedding breakfast.

It was served nicely but it was a bit cold.

So chef take this on board as generally we had a wonderful experience overall.

User

Great location to get into the center of london with great ease and speed. Huge room... Comfy beds (we were given a double & single) for 2 people. Lovely staff and an amazing picturesque atrium seamlessly merging the well kept old building to the nice modern extension. I would deffinatly reccomend... and stay again!

User

We had a night's stay here, last night. The staff were friendly and helpful. Our room was excellent condition, including a lovely bathroom. We had a nice meal in the bar/Lobby area before heading to Wembley.

The only things that we felt were missing was tea making facilities in the room and offering more herbal/fruit teas. I personally was not keen on the fake lit window, so we had no natural light. Overall a good stay.

User

Staying on business for a week . Room very comfortable and spacious. Food is good, I've enjoyed every meal. Though I've not yet tried the cooked breakfast, the buffet offers an excellent choice. Leisure facilities are okay, but the changing rooms are too small and with only one shower. Improvement is required. Staff very friendly, especially those from Ireland. Would I stay here again? Definitely.

User

Really lovely hotel, nice breakfast choice, staff were friendly and when I got there we had a double room but as sharing with my mum I asked for a twin and they moved us no problem. Only one thing and that’s the pool could be better as the quality of the pool area didn’t match the rest of the hotel as the hotel is stunning so this part let it down, would’ve given 5* otherwise as couldn’t fault it.

User

Couldn’t fault the hotel and the staff were very friendly , room was clean and comfortable and breakfast was fantastic. Would definitely stay there again.

User

Booked last minute for a two night stay. Rooms were good. Staff were very good. No lessons on in the pool over Easter so it was great. Our daughter loved it! Breakfast was very nice - loved the sausages. (Would have liked the option for poached eggs though!) Perfect location as it was not central london but just a short walk away from the tube or a number of buses right on the doorstep. Get an Oyster card and just hop on and off wherever. Surrounded by shops too if you needed anything without having to go into London centre. Limited secure parking at minimal cost where we parked - actually we were surprised that it was quite empty. Would definitely stay here again. :)

User

Beautiful build adjacent to lovely old pub which retains traditional etched glass windows. The Hotel is in a busy traffic location & there is only parking for 38 cars down a narrow ramp to very tight underground spaces between pillars. One lift was broken & had been sometime from other guests comments. The pool is a small leisure pool with only two benches around the edge; no reception, no towels, no spinner for wet costumes, a tiny changing space with 5 lockers, one toilet & one shower (the soap dispenser was empty). The hotel room was kindly provided free of charge due to our special circumstances and was a large, light space with a double bed and single bed, a tv, dressing table, tea & coffee making tray, towels & toiletries (shampoo, body wash & body lotion). Unfortunately, there was no hot water after our swim when we tried to shower in the room at 10.30am. A good location for us to return to after attending a concert at The SSE Arena, Wembley.

User

Stayed for a night as a special treat from hubby. The parking was a nightmare.....first come first served yet there were signs to say that some of the spaces were reserved....to add insult the hotel staff didn't seem to know of we could park in these spots.

The room was clean but seals in the bathroom were mouldy.

We were unable to access the pool as there was a function on that floor.

Room service was awful and expensive...ordered a cheese and ham pizza that arrived with no ham and very little cheese and cheese board that arrived with no butter and stale crackers (for ÂŁ26 I found this poor value for money).

Definitely will not book here again would rather use a travel lodge!

User

Room was nice and clean. Modern and comfortable.

Breakfast was a shambles. Had to wait outside as no tables available. Once in and hot food ordered 50 minutes later still not received and other tables getting their breakfast with items missing as they had run out..poor quality food being served up from what we could see and hear and a number of complaints.....asked for a refund and left with no breakfast before travelling back to Kent...not a good end to a weekend away!!

User

Not sure I would call this a 4* hotel. Nice enough and amazing lobby. Rooms were clean and a good size bathroom. Room 124 overlooked the emergency exit and seemed to be the main route through for all the drunk wedding guests who thought it was okay to carry on their arguments outside our door at 3am and then 4am and then 6am...

For me 4* means fridge in the room, slippers and dressing gowns, flowers maybe. To be quite honest, a family room at the Premier inn would have been pretty much the same.

Breakfast was good with plenty of options available. However the meal we had in the bar was average for the price charged.

Maybe I was expecting too much but I felt a bit deflated by the time we checked out. I would have mentioned this to the staff but they seemed more interested in selling excursions to the new arrivals...

User

The staff all friendly and helpful,, room 118 was modern and nice,, bathroom ceiling mouldy as well as silicon/mastic, wouldn't have my own house with mould, this is not for the cleaner but maintenance .... Breakfast was non existent ordered, with items on the menu not available as ran out !!, and waited 50 mins with no avail and asked for refund on breakfast, very unhappy as the most important meal off the day and not set up for the day,,, so ruined the whole experience of a weekend away....

User

Arrived at the hotel for a business trip. The room was of a nice size and well equipped and the staff were so friendly. Unfortunately the food was not nice at all. I had to return my meal and breakfast the next morning wasn’t much better. Despite the horrible food, the staff made up for this.

User

Arrived after long drive to find that the "assured" parking space didn't exist. There are only 40 spaces apparently, and they're on a first come first served basis. We had to park down the road at the Travel Lodge! What they forgot to mention, and we only realised this from observation, was that they were catering for a wedding! Hence no parking spaces! Room was clean and comfortable, bathroom acceptable, although bath plumbing needed sorting. Despite being told that breakfast would be served between 7 and 11, when we arrived at 10, there was a queue. We waited 20 minutes to be seated, 10 minutes to order and a further 40 to be served! When the plate was put in the table, there was 1 slice of bacon, a spoonful of scrambled egg and half a flat mushroom!! "We've run out of tomatoes, and practically everything else!" We did, however, manage to read the paper from cover to cover!
