With autumn just starting to set in, it's not too late to book a last minute break away to make the most of the stunning colours across the farm. What a lovely time of year!

1 new Saxony Drake added to the existing family of 3 female Saxony Ducks. Persuaded to buy 4 new chickens (2 Cuckoo Marans and 2 Blue Marans), not the original 2 that were planned!! But the temptation was too much looking at all the lovely different colourings ;)

Beatrice surprised us with twins a few days ago!

Proud new mother Beatrice has her first calf - a bright handsome bull: Hereford cross Shorthorn. Born a couple of hours ago in the field - calf was transported up in the back of the quad trailer to the warm and dry :)

Our new arrivals - 4 Saxony Ducks (1 drake and 3 females) seem to be enjoying themselves despite the bad weather for ducks #justtoohotandsunnyroundhere (28 degrees and not a cloud in the sky!)

Finally got many of the woodland walks mown now that the ground is dry enough!
