Clent Connect Limited (Community Benefit Society)

The community hub, café and shop at the heart of Clent in WorcestershireClent Connect is a Community Benefit Society. Our Board is made up of volunteers from Clent who all contribute their time and expertise freely to bring into reality the vision of a hub at the heart of the Clent community. The aim of Clent Connect is to: "Provide the residents of Clent with a friendly, vibrant, socially inclusive community hub incorporating a café and small shop to create a focus and enhance village life"Our mission is to: Be a catalyst for positive change by facilitating community activities and social interaction. Build a more connected community within the village with a socially inclusive hub. Increase intergenerational socialising. Reduce isolation and loneliness for the more vulnerable members of our community. Provide services not currently available in the village, such as essential /staple food items. Offer an essential lifeline for our older residents and those without cars. Improve mental health for local residents. Our Hub Coordinator, Sally Stuart works part-time to coordinate our wonderful team of volunteers and to champion Clent Connect activities. Volunteers perform a wide range of roles and we are always happy to hear from anyone who would like to get involved. We are grateful to the Clent Parish Hall Trustees for their support in establishing a permanent home for Clent Connect at the Parish Hall.
