The beauty of vintage is that you can create your own style and at 50 i'm owning it 🙌 This 1950s hand painted couture dress i bought at our very 1st fair 10 years ago. The incredible @splendidstitches altered it on the 11th hour (literally) so it's less voluminous and more tapered in the skirt to create a tulip shape making it more elegant and with zero waste! 🙏The excess fabric @bella_pacella made into a gorgeous matching headband paired with these fab 90s gold heart earring...s purchased from @vintageakimbofinds stand. Mix n match. One of the most important factors of a party is the music thanks to dj & producer @femiydfem who knows how much i love to dance💃 so comfortable whilst elegant shoes were crucial. My @freedoflondon black suede peep toe ballroom dancing shoes finished off the outfit so i could be the belle of the ball and wake up without sore feet 😊 Outfit sorted. Lastly but certainly not least my fantastic hairdresser & colourist @shikihair in a 90s jumpsuit and 80s vintage bag #50th #partytime #celebration
