Clever Fox Canine Training And Behaviour

It's so important that puppies have excellent canine role models to learn from, from a young age.
I've heard trainers say they should never play with other dogs, or never interact with them. Which might be the right thing for a dog destined for a working role, but 90% of dogs in this country are pets and part of that is learning how to speak dog as well as people.
This photo is of Tasha when I brought Nessa home, until this point Tasha had hardly been around puppies. But sh...e came down on Nessa's level and played gently with her. Nessa is utterly fearless of dogs, and between them both they have gone on to educate hundreds of dogs and puppies.
If you don't have access to an amazing German Shepherd like me, then find friends who have dogs or talk to other dog owners, or employ the services of a good dog trainer.
Remember puppies need to learn to listen as well as have fun, some classes or parties can lead to the puppy becoming hte unruly and out of control adult we all want to avoid, or one scary interaction can last a lifetime.
It's important you get things right, or have the chance to make things better if they do go wrong.
Tasha's legacy lives on with all my dogs, and their interactions with puppies. Titan has taken on her mantle and loves puppies, and will always play on their level.

This week I was in Wales renewing my Ntipdu Instructors as well as Level 3 General Purpose Security Dog Certificate.
I suggested this training scenario to test my dogs obedience, and the other dogs focus.
Was impressed as usual with the standard of dogs we worked with. Lovely to train and work beside such excellent trainers and handlers.

Litter mates can be tough to train, as they bond to each other and often owners can be pushed out of the relationship.
These guys owners have worked so hard to work together with their puppies, building a relationship and have them listen to them.
... Love them so much! I can't wait to see them develop.
