Wow amazing park!!

First time here with our 3 year old and he absolutely loved it!!

So much to do, he loved the sand adventure playground, the rides, the train ride, the crazy goof, the museum and the splash park!

We had a brilliant day and will deffo be returning on a regular basis

The rides are all mostly £1, or you can buy cards with credits on (12 rides for £10)

The museum at the too was great too

We enjoyed a pucnic and there are lots of shady places to sit

The park and facilities are so clean, the best ive ever seen !

The train is great that goes around the park (1 1/2 credits each), you can get off at the too at the museum, then catch it back for a return journey

It was so hot when we visited so we were a bit uncomfortable and it was very busy , which meant the splash park was way too bolshy for a 3 year old,he did nt stop in long as kept getting knocked over, so we would like to visit again during the week when its not as busy

The one down side is the lack of parking for such a big park, both car parks were full so we spent ages driving round looking for a space to park on the street

Great place though, higly reccomended !

Visited Clifton Park Saturday 29th July, brilliant park to visit with plenty for the kids to do, the water fountains are great for the kids to have plenty of fun so take a towel and trunks, there is also a little fair for them to enjoy with a token system in place, outdoor play are looks great but my young en didn't get time to play as the day just whizzed by. The crazy golf course is brilliant and one of the best ones we,ve played on in a long time, the park is very well maintained and clean just needs some picnic benches or areas to sit and eat your pack up, well done Rotherham Councli you have a great park there and we will be back for sure.

This park had been recommended by a friend, and we loved it!! Travelled 40 or so mins from Holmfirth but so much well worth the journey!! The only reason we left was cos the car park ran out!! Fabulous park, great open spaces, loads to do be it getting wet in the splash park, playing in the many different playgrounds, having an ice cream or a visit to the fun park, or a quick scoot on the skate park!! A lovely clean place, friendly folk, loads to occupy you and a great day had by all!! Going back soon & bringing some friends! Would definitely recommend, pack a picnic & enjoy a great day out

User

Love it here. Rides are as cheap as chips and loads to do without spending any money at all. It's our goto place when we need to take kids out without spending a fortune. Hot days are best so they can go in water park and they love a game of crazy golf

User

It really good and it lovely day out with friends and family x

User

I have been bringing children here for yrs and now grandchildren. It just gets better and better, so much to do. Food on site and plenty of area to play games and picnic

On the other side of the coin though is the parking problem( not enough and individuals parking selfishly) Also it definately needs more toilets near the play area, even if only opened at the weekend or summer holidays; then it would be perfect.. Well done Rotherham...

User

Fun for the whole family! My daughter loves it!

User

Fantastic place and so much to do with the children. Oliver loved the sand and water area and played for hours. Rides cheap at one pound a go. Plenty to do. Planning to revisit in the six weeks holidays 👍

User

Clifton park is a jewel in the crown. It is well looked after, the water area and the rides area are wonderful for children of all ages. Ample space for a picnic and although not too much parking, you can usually find somewhere to park off street if needs be. Would rather have more park than parking! Well done Rotherham.

User

Can't recommend it enough. By far the best public park I've ever visited . So much for kids to do , take a picnic it's a goodfull day .

User

Amazing park bit like a mini theme park so much to do for all ages I’m definitely going back before schools go back

User

Went with my 3 boys ages 9/6/5, lots to do & fair is very good prices especially when you have a few children, only downside if it gets busy parking can be difficult & toilets/changing facilities were filthy need to be cleaned more frequently, other than that def worth a visit

User

We spend a lot of time here. Love the splash park, the fun fair is great and lots of things to do including a visit to the museum. Needs more changing rooms at the splash park and more toilets too. Having a radar key we have to push through the long queues, , that form for the other toilets, to use the disabled one.

User

Like coming here even though my son is getting older now and some of the rides are too slow for him he enjoys what rides he does go on and the mini golf so value for money xx

User

Came today for 1st time ever and had lots of fun. Only downside are the toilet facilities. The place really needs more toilets, the queue was so long! For a place that attracts such a lot of people you'd think more toilets would be built.

Apart from that the place was lovely. Came early so no issues with parking.

User

Great place been coming with the children past two years few times in the school holidays very clean lots to do specially water splash love it great place to take your family and safe

User

First time coming yesterday , Had a good day unfortunately had to leave as my daughter was ill will definitely come back but there does need to be more parking we drive around for ages looking for somewhere to park and had to park on a side road for 2 hours but if we had of stayed longer don't no where we would of parked x

User

Fantastic place plenty to do for all ages just need more parking or at least an attendant to ensure cars park appropriately in the grass area as some owners clearly don't realise space is a premium. Also toilets were filthy and not enough of them.
