We visited today for my daughters 7th birthday party and it didn't disappoint. The kids had a great time encouraged by the great staff - James and Lucy did a fantastic job managing them all and making it really fun. The party food and area was great and all the kids have talked about really enjoying and wanting to go back soon. As a family we will be going back for sure! Highly recommend a visit and/or party.

User

We normally go to the Derby clip and climb but visiting family in Cardiff we booked to go to the Bristol one with them. Had a great morning and some different climbs to our normal one and our kids loved it. Would recommend it to anyone even if theyŌĆÖve never climbed before. Safe and fun made easier that we were allowed to clip and unclip our own children made it earlier changing from wall to wall. My boys will be visiting again IŌĆÖm sure ¤æŹ¤Å╝

We brought a group of children from Chernobyl Children's Lifeline this morning. The staff were really helpful and made us all very welcome, and they made sure that all of the children understood the safety rules and that they all had a go at everything they wanted to attempt. I explained what our charity was about, and the staff arranged for all of the children to have a go at the 'leap of faith' free of charge. They had an amazing time which they will remember for a long time. Thanks Clip n Climb!

User

Took my girls yesterday. We have been a few times and absolutely love it. We had no issues at all and my children loved that I could join in and be a clipper.. so I was there on hand ready to clip and unclip them. With doing this you are only supposed to clip and unclip your own children /party. Which I completely agree for insurance purposes. Needless to say I had a few looks from parents when I told their children I wasn't able to unclip them, however the instructors took a few seconds to get to them. Brilliant place to keep the kids entertained and active for a while. Will see you again soon ’┐Į’┐Į

User

Suffice to say that we've booked again for next week. My twin grandchildren loved and the girl twin who is more into books than PE really enjoyed herself. The staff were helpful but not overbearing. We didn't try the cafe but it was great to have somewhere to sit and watch rather than having to stand around which has been my experience in other such places.

User

Pretty gutted I only just discovered this place a few weeks ago tho we have lived walking distance to it for two years! It is a brilliant space where the kids are totally safe, even when it's super busy there are plenty of staff around to help the kids on and off the different walls, and the safety introduction completely reassures them so they can just let loose. All the walls have different challenges so older kids can enjoy as well as the little ones. We will definately be visiting again, and spreading the word because I have never seen any advertising for it anywhere!

User

My 5 year old daughter loves it, the staff are all friendly and always put safety first. We visited for the second time yesterday and there were lots of adults climbing. I donŌĆÖt think adults should do these walls, they are clearly aimed at kids and too easy for most adults and to be frank they looked silly climbing alongside the youngsters! Just my opinion!

User

Kids had a great time! They used lots of energy (always a bonus) the staff were very attentive and happy to help would recommend and will be going back soon

User

I just wanted to say how much the boys enjoyed their climbing party today! They really loved it, as did all of their friends, and doing the Leap of Faith with everyone cheering was such a special way to celebrate a birthday! We were all impressed with how well everything had been organised for us, from the initial emails giving us all the information, to the day itself. It all went so smoothly and was the easiest party I have done! We also loved the extra touches to make it personal -the birthday boys' names in letters above the blackboard, and also on the place mats, were a lovely idea. Huge thanks to everyone involved, we all thought it was great, adults and kids alike! :-)

User

I held my sons 5th birthday at Clip 'n Climb in January. There were 12 in our group & they all had a brilliant time. I was really impressed with the staff, in particular one of the team (Rob) who dealt with us on arrival. It was a pretty busy environment as you'd expect with lots of excited children, plus other parties too, but having been before we knew it could feel really busy.. after giving it a minute you could tell it was all very slickly managed with a relaxed but fun vibe - very cool & I would thoroughly reckon it to anyone!!

I emailed the team afterwards to pass on our thanks directly to the staff as they kind of made it for us!

User

Had my sons 6th birthday party here yesterday and he absolutely loved it, he has been a few times before but it was a new experience for most of his friends. The team all made the children feel very welcome and at ease. The food after was lovely and the personalised colouring a really lovely touch. Thank you so much for making it a party to remember ¤æŹ¤Å╗

User

Fantastic experience. Highly recommend for kids parties. I took a group of 23 Scouts, right from the start the communication was efficient and they were very understanding of ours needs. The kids loved it, lots of walls to choose from and in the hour it's plenty of time to do all walls even with 23 kids! Thank you to all staff who catered for our needs including the drinks order at the end ’┐Į’┐Į

User

A big thank you to the people at Clip'n'Climb, easiest and best Birthday party I've had to deal with by far, all booked with a few emails, just turned up and the staff dealt with big bunch of 5 year old brilliantly! Lots of happy kids and parents alike.

We look forwards to coming back again, thanks

User

We had my sons 5th birthday here and although the children had a great time I do think it's a lot of money to pay out with little support. The staffing was atrocious I had to wait 10/15 minutes to find the girl to bring our cake out as she was no where to be found! I think there needs to be an allocated person who looks after each individual party. I was really disappointed that the chicken sandwiches were filled with sweetcorn? What an odd thing to put in children's food, I'm not sure how you can get away with that without advertising it's got sweetcorn in. Surely ham or cheese is suitable for kids? My son loves climbing and was desperate to have his party here but no fuss was made of the birthday child. As children's party entertainer myself I did expect more.

User

Brilliant place. My 4 year old went for the first time and was nervous but after 20 mins he climbed to the top of one wall and pressed the button and we were so proud! Staff are great and there straight away to clip and unclip everyone. Will be going again soon. Brilliant place and so safe!

User

Lovely activity for the kids however I felt it was a bit pricey in comparison to another venue visited in Bristol a few months ago especially when you had to pay extra for the leap of Faith on top of the ┬Ż12.50 already paid. Staff weren't especially quick with the clipping and unclipping meaning kids had to wait around a bit. Having said that the kids did have an excellent time!

User

Having recently visited the one in Cornwall we thought we'd visit our local one. Really disappointed with the staffing at the Bristol venue. In Cornwall the staff to guest ratio meant that, alongside the parent clippers, no-one had to wait more than a few seconds for a go on any of the walls. Yesterday my daughters were waiting for minutes at a time with their hands in the air trying to get someone's attention.

In Cornwall, the Leap Of Faith was included in the entry price and everyone had a go if they wanted at the end of the session. In fact my one daughter had two go's. At the Bristol one we were told it cost extra (ok we were happy to pay) but it had to be pre-booked! When we tried to see if someone could sort it by the end of the session, we were bounced around several members of staff only to find it was the decision of the team leader who was no-where to be found.

Shame I live near the Bristol one and not the Cornish one or we'd visit more regularly.

Edited to add: not sure why one daughter's chest (and it turns out one of her friends also) have woken up the following day with bruising from the metal clips. They both reckon theirs was setup differently to the rest of the group?

User

Either they need to give staff a pay rise or some energy drinks- pretty indifferent to the kids. Bit confusing first time. We started 5 min early with the briefing so ended 15 minutes early. As there was a birthday party and they had included one ŌĆśLeap of FaithŌĆÖ (which isnŌĆÖt a patch on Bristol zoos Wild Place one) our two couldnŌĆÖt do it - what? Disappointed boys. Apparently they can only cope with one 5 minute Leap of Faith every session, though didnŌĆÖt see this on website. Not bowled over.

User

Beware of clip n climb bristol, daughter is ill but can't rearrange party without losing money on food that isn't even made and being told we have to change the booking to between Mon-Fri only. Avoid booking unless you know your children won't be ill.

First proper review, easy to find but no line marking in front car park so very good chance of spaces being not available there however there is parking at the back.

Staff were friendly and the place itself looks good.

Kids really enjoyed themselves so it's such a shame our first experience was tainted by the poor offer of a reschedule that wasn't a like for like service we paid for

Based on this I'll up my rating from a 1 to a 3
