Hey everyone,
We know the weather outside is absolutely boiling, and that sandals makes you feel a bit cooler but when you come climbing with us you NEED to wear closed-toe shoes.
Little toes can get caught on our walls or in worst case scenario get stuck around the pegs, and we really don't want to ruin summer for anyone.
... We have a few shoe sizes available here for purchase or to borrow but we do not have every size at all, so please dress yourself and the little ones sensible when coming to climb with us.
Sandals are an absolute no-go on our arena for safety reasons and if there are no shoes that fit then your little one cannot climb.
Don't put them through the heartbreak; bring sensible shoes

What a great day out for my class! The staff were encouraging, knowledgeable and experienced. They instilled confidence in all the kids, but especially the ones who found it all a bit overwhelming at first. It was wonderful to see how confident the kids were by the end. All of them made it all the way up the wall several times. Highly recommended for a day out!

User

Took my brother and son yesterday and they had a great time. They really enjoyed challenging each other. He was so impressed he has applied for a job there.

User

Soo much fun, for all ages and experience levels! Staff were delightful and very welcoming. Thoroughly impressed and would recommend to anyone wanting to try something different in Cambridge.

Just be prepared to be sore the next day

User

Really great place. Good safety briefing and Staff really support everyone and very friendly and helpful . Equipment all in good order and safety really good.

User

My daughter had a fab 9th birthday at Clip n Climb, the following week we all climbed as a family - even the apathetic 14 year old had fun!! Staff really encouraged him to improve his speed climb - 11 seconds in the end! And gave him tips to get to the top of the Triffid. Staff were encouraging & enthusiastic.

User

Just been to the sen session. We were totally blown away. The staff were totally amazing with both our children but especially Harry. He has autism and the staff encouraged him on all the walls, they climbed alongside him and gave him lots of confidence to climb all the activities. He also did the stairway one.

Harry was very proud of himself making it to the top but due to his autism he became very frightened to come down. Thankfully all the staff were very professional in how they dealt with him to get him down to safety.

I would just like to say a special thank you to the two young ladies who ran the session. I didn’t catch their names but both definitely went above and beyond with all The children. I will be recommending this session to everyone who I know with special needs children.

So thank you again to all the staff that ran this group today thank you... it’s lovely that not only do you offer this session but the staff are trained in how to deal with the children and there needs by interacting with them...

User

It was great, both my Jasmyn 8 and me (adult) had a great time climbing walls. Really well managed and coordinated, friendly and sttentitive staff so great afternoon out. Highly recommended

User

I took my son today at his request (unexpected as he wouldn't climb higher than the first rung of a ladder before today) and I'm totally glad I did. The staff were amazing - really friendly and great at guiding him through climbing technique with gentle encouragement. He started the session taking two steps up the wall and then descending, but by the end of the session he'd pressed the button at the top of 4 walls and didn't want to leave, as he loved it that much. Totally transformed him and now able to gloat about beating Mummy to the top. Going to a quieter session turned out to be a good idea as they don't have any (or very little) queuing time for the wall they want to try, where they can overthink it and change their mind before giving it a go.

User

Great place for my daughters 7th birthday party. Everyone had a wonderful time and nice to do something different

User

Gr8 family Indoor climbing centre. Easy to book, few parking spaces, gr8 vfm. Friendly staff esp Taylor! Very supportive to the children. Suitable for all ages from 4-94! Refreshments are a little expensive £2.40 for a cup of tea 😲Highly recommed.

User

Excellent. Staff well trained and attentive.

Communication good.

A really enjoyable trip for our young people. Will definitely recommend.

User

Brilliant fun. My son's 9 and 11 loved it. Staff couldn't have been more friendly and helpful. Had the last session of the day and kids hardly waited to be clipped or had to queue. My eldest who has reached an age where he rarely shows enthusiasm for anything except Xbox was buzzing and can't wait to return.

User

1st time here for a friends Birthday, my 5yr old was with me and wanted to join in, I was abit unsure knowing what he is like but he absolutely loved it, he climbed really well and gave nearly everything a try and came off buzzing, my other son with the party again absolutely loved it, all the children did, the staff were really friendly and very helpful couldn't fault them at all, definitely recommend clip & climb for all children & adults and will definatley be back

User

Visited today (13/04/18) with my kids, age 5 and 7, to celebrate their friend's birthday. My 7 year old really enjoyed it and had a go at as many of the walls as he could fit in during the session. My 5 year old was overwhelmed and was getting upset but one of your male instructors noticed and gave her a challenge to get a meerkat from the wall with all the coloured circles. He gently encouraged her to have a go by placing it low down so she could get it and then put it higher up. He was brilliant with her. Thanks!

User

The kids had a great time, youngest being 4. Even fun for the adults as there are challenges on some walls.

Only downer is that it looked much bigger on the website. It was quite underwhelming when we walked in. The staff were friendly and tried there best however there was sometimes a bit of a wait to get clipped in and out. It did seem a little silly for £2.50 you were only allowed one turn on the stairway to heaven as it took up a fair amount of space and wasn’t used very much.

User

Had a brilliant time, went in the school Easter holidays so it was busy as expected but there were plenty of staff to clip the children in and out of their harnesses so they didn’t have to wait long. My 5 and 7 year old both had a fab time and we will definitely be visiting again. The staff were lovely. The only thing that wasn’t great was it was a lot smaller than it looked on the website and abit cramped around the reception/cafe/toilet areas.

User

Great place for kids to play and have fun. Good price for an hour, but thought £2.50 for the extra slide (only twice) and climbing bit (only once) was a little steep.

The staff were fantastic and friendly whilst being very Knowledgeable.

User

Great fun and good value. Age 4+ but our 4 y/o really struggled, the karabiner/lock mechanism kept hitting her in the face and the belay system was pulling her up which meant staying on her feet was tricky. Our 6 year old absolutely loved it so I would say for ages 5+ or more than 110cm.

User

Great experience kids loved it only disappointment was seems a little badly organised we were booked in for 11 you have a half hour safety briefing before which is definitely needed.. but there seems to be a lot of hanging around you do have to pay £2.50 extra for two goes on the death slide that is a little steep considering it’s over in 20 seconds!! Also to walk the stairway to heaven again twice yes you need an instructor to be there , I feel more support is needed and to guide the younger ones how to do it would be good ..

It is a free for all to get onto which walls you can climb and can have to wait at times. It would be nice for each group to have half hour at least on the wall without the others as it can be rather congested .. especially when every 30 mins a new group comes in, it’s not the largest of spaces so maybe having less people especially by age as well .. despite this it was good fun and the kids enjoyed it which is the main thing!

Drinks were nice and staff friendly.. I do think if paying extra for the sessions you should receive a certificate especially if managing to complete the slide to the height of 10 and the stairway to heaven .. in the safety brief it looked like they had them..

that’s all I’m sure we will go again!
