The Clipper 2017-18 Round the World Yacht Race is the only race of its kind which trains everyday people to experience the thrill and exhilaration of ocean racing.

A 40, 000 nautical mile epic journey taking eleven months to complete, circumnavigation is an achievement fewer people have completed than have climbed Mount Everest.

Crew members can sign up for the whole circumnavigation or one or more of eight legs. No previous sailing experience is required as full training is provided.

The Clipper 2017-18 Race set off from Liverpool's Albert Dock on 20 August, 2017, and will see the crew race to Punta del Este, Uruguay - Cape Town - Fremantle - Sydney - Hobart - Whitsundays - Sanya - Qingdao - Seattle - Panama - New York - Derry-Londonderry - returning to Liverpool on 28 July 2018.
