C@Ll (Community At Linden Lodge)

C@LL helps to build a community around and fundraise for Linden Lodge School, a highly specialised Special Educational Needs school in London for the visually impaired and pupils with profound multiple learning difficulties. Pupils, aged 2 to 19, come from some 28 Local Authorities throughout southern England and attend as either day pupils or as weekly boarders. Most come to school using special transport and which means parents have very few if any opportunities to meet at the gates. As a result, many parents feel very isolated when dealing with their child's complex health and educational needs. C@LL is therefore an essential gateway for the school's community of parents, staff, carers and friends to come together and share knowledge, experiences and needs. C@LL also supports the school's and the community's fundraising needs, for example by contributing funds to specialist equipment or to organise special workshops, support networks and activities for parents, pupils and staff outside of the normal school curriculum.
