This year's Carnival planning has commenced! Please see Kaden's mummy, Annemarie, at the gate on Tuesdays, Thursdays or Fridays if you can help out and would like your child to take part. Last week we had visitors from Sandhole Vets who came to cut Peter and Bertie's toenails! They were very brave guinea pigs 🙂

As well as teaching children to learn through play, we have to recognise issues in child development, liaise with speech & language, psychologists and psychiatrists, teachers, therapists, undertake 2 year progress checks, be first aid trained, identify special or additional needs, cater for dietary and health requirements, manage complex family issues, look for signs of extremism and terrorism, safeguardin...g and child protections issues, drugs, alcohol & mental health issues, domestic violence, health and safety requirements, undertaking risk assessments, substances hazardous to health, infection control, food hygiene. To adhere to Ofsted, the Local Authority, Environmental Health and the Health Protection agency. We plan, observe and assess children based on their characteristics of effective learning, we see schemas in their play and plan appropriate next steps to ensure they are ready for their next stage of learning. We care for these children as if they are our own, we hug, we reassure, we praise, we celebrate their achievements. We ensure children learn to share, take turns, be kind, have excellent manners, socialise with their peers. We go the extra mile for parents wherever we can, we are there for them when they are experiencing difficulties, struggling to cope, when they feel there is no one there to help or listen.
But apparently all we do all day is "play"!

The staff are wonderful and go out of their way to help your little one develop and learn while having fun. My son is leaving there in July as he starts Reception in September and we're both dreading having to say goodbye. 👍🏼🏆🏡🥇👏🏼

The staff are all very friendly and professional. My son has epilepsy and they are so great with him and keeping me informed if they are worried. My son loves it here and will be sad to leave in july

Our daughter has come on so far since being here. The staff are fantastic, the kids are very lucky to have such wonderful staff working there.

My son’s development has come on in leaps and bounds since he started at Clocktower. I have always felt completely supported in any decisions I make regarding his care and the staff are all lovely. He always talks about how much fun he has had and it really helps to ease the parental guilt of leaving him in childcare to know he is happy and well looked after.

My son has just finished here at Clocktower and I couldn't fault them at all. His confidence has grown and has learnt so many new things. All the staff are absolutely wonderful! I can't wait for my youngest to start in September and learn all the amazing things my eldest has xxx

My daughter loves it here! The staff are really friendly and welcoming and my daughter always is happy to go in and then excited to tell me what she has done during the day. She has learnt far more than I expected and a lot of things that I've never started teaching her.

My daughter is on her second year here and we're all really happy. It's a lovely homely nursery and the staff are very friendly and approachable.

My boys have loved going to Clocktower. They have both developed very well. They leave in two weeks and I know that they are gonna miss all their teachers and friends lots x

I can’t recommend enough! Both my boys attend Clocktower and it’s beyond fantastic! My children leave there extremely happy, full of beans and excited to tell me all about their day! I’ve watched them grow into such clever, funny, caring, polite children and Clocktower have a lot of credit to take for that!
