Went here after our school leaving party. The staff were so good I just phoned up to ask if we would be allowed to wear our uniform in and they got back to me within a few minutes and also offered us loads of amazing deals without us having to ask. We ended up getting free entry for the whole party and had an amazing night. The staff went above and beyond replying to all of my questions super fast and in particular the female security is a gem �. Even when some of us turned up on the night and weren’t on the guest list the guys on the door said as they were part of the party they were also welcome to free entry. All in all a really good night would highly recommend and will definitley be back their music is the best. Best night out in croydon by far.

Second time I've celebrated my birthday here and as always club 88 always make it the best experience. Ideally a bigger area should've been required as I did advise there would be approx 25 to 30 people upon booking. However, Shannen was coming over from the bar to the area to check everything was fine and running smoothly, very professional and efficient - also amazing cocktail maker! Thank you club 88 for yet another great birthday bash and I shall hopefully see you next year for the big 25!

Ok croydon has been waiting for a place like this for ages now, the security top professionals! , welcoming and very accommodating. Literally the best night out in Croydon you will get...especially on a Saturday night!! The new refurb of the venue is unreal & looks absolutely wicked. Celebrated many occasions & have got table packages many times which is well worth the money & great service! Also, Staff are all really amazing & friendly! I'm probably Club 88's most regular customer (and Tiger's before that) - however apart from knowing a lot of the staff I'm not in any way connected and so this represents my honest review.



Having been to all the clubs in Croydon apart from the Granaries I think the makeover in Jan has now made this the classiest nightclub in Croydon. It has a good mix of clientelle, enjoying different music scenes. One thing that is very noticeable is that you don't have to wait long for a drink because there are a lot of bar staff employed. In Luna you can wait 20 mins at busy times to get served. Here you won't wait longer than 5 mins.



Drinks prices are reasonable: £4.95 for a pint of Peroni, same price as Luna, a few pence more than Slug and Lettuce (which isn't a club) and a few pence less than Dog and Bull.



The music isn't always to my taste but I'm not their target market - I do miss being able to go to different rooms like with Tiger when I don't like the particular music playing.



I'm liking the music more since the re-opening in Jan and even get up and have the odd dance now (and anyone that knows me will know my dancing is very odd but I just like to enjoy myself).



I see a few of the negative reviews commenting on security - this seems to be a general theme for clubs in Croydon and indeed London. From my observations I do think Security over the years has got a lot more friendly. The tall black security man that works downstairs in the club goes round collecting glasses and checking with people if they are ok - can't ask for much better than that. Of course if you've been denied entry or asked to leave you are always going to feel wronged.



Management do listen to feedback and try to make the club as suited to as many people as possible. For instance, when they first took over the club all the walls were white and the feedback they got was that the club vibe was too bright, so they redecorated black and took out some of the lighting to give people the vibe they more wanted.

I moved to London last September and this was the first club I visited and I've loved it ever since. Last night unfortunately outside the club I got punched right in my eye by some scumbag guy, nothing to do with the club at all, but they couldn't have been more helpful. Rachel the female bouncer was amazing and spent time calming me down, looking after me and making sure I got home safe after everything was dealt with. All of the other staff were lovely and everyone made sure I was okay, getting me ice etc. Thank you so much Rachel and thank you 88, I still love you and I will still be back in the future! X

I loved the environment that club 88 have and the the new layout. I felt comfortable and the bar girl that served me Jasmine her name was, she was lovely. The dj was good. I will be back soon.

I had an amazing time for my bday celebrations! The girls really made a fuss of me, with the Prosecco and confetti shooter. Was lovely having the table as well. Plus the DJ did me a couple DJ shout outs which made me feel really special. The photographer is really sweet and friendly and got some nice pics of me and my girls. Love the security lady on the door too. Massive thank you to everyone!! Had a great time :)

I don’t even know where to begin, such an amazing night! I booked a table for my girlfriends birthday and Tav could not have been more helpful. The guys on the night were incredible, the way our bottles were presented was amazing. They really went to the trouble of treating us so special. I have booked many tables and never had a nightclub present their packages like this, it was unreal. We ordered a few more bottles on the night and they presented each one amazingly. The hosts were incredible along with the other guys on the night (wish I had gotten names). The DJ was brilliant and literally had us dancing all night. We will definitely be coming back and I will be booking my birthday there. Could not recommend them highly enough! Also the security team are amazing, so friendly and caring.

You never go to a place where the security and door staff are nice ! but 88 has and will always be ticking all them boxes! Overpriced drinks- not professional! We went there last Saturday. When we arrived that to get into 88 club was such professional. Music wasn't to bad and was so many guests however still can have a good fun. The worst think about the club no space outside for a quests who not smoking! I went for 2minutes outside bcos was so hot inside, I couldn't back in!!!! The door stuff (some) are rude and unprofessional. I think it shouldn't look like this if you pay for entrance and you pay "pretty much" for unprofessional shots so you expect what you paying for. Btw was a fun except those situations.

I had booked out a table for my 18th birthday, my friends and I met the hostess at the top of the stairs and was escorted to the table. The service we received was very good and the table was great as well. The bouncers where friendly and one even took a photo for me and my friend. The music was very good however the DJ wouldn't stop talking over the music which was annoying. Nevertheless we still had a excellent night.

Great night over all booked a table for sisters 18th at first i thought was pricey when booking but when we was there what we got was worth the money only problem was is that i was told we would get waited on so if we wanted other drinks we wouldnt have to que up at bar but never got that part but drink was good music great would defo go here again

Staff are polite but i bought a drink, half hour later went to get the same drink but was charged more.

the female security at the door VIOLATES people because she HATES her job and HATES her life and then uses this hatred to TOUCH UP women and let her 'power' go to her head whilst she goes through every item in the bag. the male security in the club HARRASSES constantly, following you around every time you put your bag and jacket on the floor, or in the corner or on a chair. unable to breathe. it feels like a PRISON.

other than that the music is alright and it would be a good club if it didn't completely violate you like this.

Music is Good and so is The atmosphere.

Staff are polite but i bought a drink, half hour later went to get the same drink but was charged more.

the female security at the door VIOLATES people because she HATES her job and HATES her life and then uses this hatred to TOUCH UP women and let her 'power' go to her head whilst she goes through every item in the bag. the male security in the club HARRASSES constantly, following you around every time you put your bag and jacket on the floor, or in the corner or on a chair. unable to breathe. it feels like a PRISON.

other than that the music is alright and it would be a good club if it didn't completely violate you like this.
