Club Taxis (Permanently Closed)

Absolutely shocking service, arrived over 10 minutes late without calling to warn, baring in mind the known destination was Calow Hospital for a booked scan. No apology from the driver, who was in fact very rude. Would give 0/5 if possible, do not recommend.

Since being taken over by City, this company has become a shambles! Always late and rude taxi drivers! This morning I prebooked a taxi at 7.30 for 8.40, I rang them at 8.42 asking where the taxi is 'oh there's some taxi available from brim now', I asked how long, should be with you in five mins. I called back in 5 mins, still no taxi, 'oh there's some taxis available from brim now, will be with you in a couple of mins' I said, you said that 5 mins ago, I'm going to be late for work, 'sorry we can't guarantee that a taxi will be on time between 8-9'. I call back at 8.58, still no taxi 'oh one is being despatched now, it'll be with you in a couple of mins'? So a taxi wasn't even despatched to us even though it was o rebook ed at 7.30 in the morning! I was 10 minutes late for work!!! I can safely say, i will not be using them again!! I miss the old Club taxis!

Wish you could put 0 stars as 1 is too good for this company. Booked a taxi to pick family up from the airport. The lady on the phone was pretty clueless and had me on the phone for almost 10 minutes just to book a taxi for this evening and then prepay online. Taxi doesn't show. The silly woman had booked the taxi for 3 days later! Were they supposed to sit and wait until Thursday? What a farce. Absolute joke of a firm. Wish I'd have looked up their poor ratings before booking. Won't be using again and will definitely be informing family and friends to steer clear. Ridiculous how they can get it wrong so many times from what I've read. It's a wonder they're still operating.

Shocking service. The driver was on his phone checking the football scores, I felt so unsafe. On top of that I found what he was saying offensive. I'm all for making conversation during the journey, but this specific driver felt the need to critisise my education and career path in doing so, which made me feel even more uncomfortable. Don't use this firm, if not for the lack of customer service, but for the total disregard for safety.

Had to rush to the hospital due to an emergency and the driver decided to take the long route around hasland instead of going to near the town centre and up towards calow just for a couple of quid extra. Will never use again.

Never again. Guy who answered my call didn't know where is Autoworld. Situation happened many times before with different places. People in reception should be more polite.

Taxi arrived quickly but took an incredibly long time to get to the train station so I was 30 seconds late for my train and had to wait another hour for the next one

Absolutely appalled. Booked a taxi for 11:15am and at 11:30 it hadn't turned up, so I called to find out where it was and I was told it'd be 2-3 mins. By 11:40 it still wasn't here and then had a text to say it was on its way and would take 16 more minutes. Disgusted and will never be using them again!
