DYNAMOS CRICKET The English Cricket Board has launched a new format for girls and boys aged 8-11 who want to hit a ball like Joe Root or catch a ball like Ben Stokes!
... Clumber Park Cricket Club are running the sessions on Fridays 6-7pm from 15th May to 3rdJul 2020!
The 8-week course costs £40 and you receive a personalised t-shirt to wear. If you would like to join us visit ecb.co.uk/play/dynamoscricket and type in ‘clumber park’ in the search box. Sign up as soon as possible to secure your place.
You do not have to pay National Trust park entry when you come to training.
If you are younger than 8 you can play Kwik Cricket with us at the same time and if you are older than 11 there is training for you too! Just email kay.bownes@yahoo.com for more details!

Ladies and Gents,just a reminder that the presentation evening is just a couple of weeks away on the 31st January 2020.
The event will take place at The Innings and there are tickets still available for those who dont have them yet or are looking to bring along friends and family (All Welcome !) Tickets just £12.50 which includes Wrights legendary Pie n pea supper.
The club is looking to riase some much needed cash on the night,if there are kind soles out there willing to donate any raflle prizes it would greatly appreciated.

Presentation update
After not one ,but two failed bookings we have (fingers crossed), secured a venue and a caterer!
So the date for the diary is Friday 31st January 2020, the venue The Innings,Worksop.
... Be great to see not just a room full of players,but our friends families and supporters ,at £12.50 a ticket to include a legendary Anne Wright’s pie and pea supper, it’s a great way to support the club and recognise the achievements of our talented players and those who prop things up behind the scenes.

Treasurer Roles and Responsibilities Monitor the finances of the club producing monthly budget monitoring reports and the annual statement of accounts. Ongoing throughout the season ... Good book keeping or accountancy knowledge and preferably a financial background but this is not mandatory Good administrative and communication skills Good Excel and Word skills Reliable, Approachable, Confidentiality Role: Approximate time commitment: Useful skills and experience: Tasks • Maintain accurate and up to date financial records for the club • Establish and maintain club bank account and banking arrangements • Reconcile bank to cashbook on a monthly basis • Be a signatory on the bank account • Report financial position to the committee • Collect and deposit all fees, subscriptions and funds • Raise invoices on behalf of the club and recover any unpaid • Prepare and issue receipts for monies received • Ensure that funds are spent appropriately • Explore funding opportunities for the club • Pay any bills incurred • Prepare end of year financial report for AGM

Morning everybody.It is with regret that we are going to have to postpone this Saturdays Presentation evening.The floods have taken a heavy toll on Worksop town centre and in paticular Worksop CC,The club is underwater. At present there are approx 10 fire crews on Bridge street,with boats still fetching people out of properties around Newcastle avenue,Central avenue etc.
As soon as we have any news re replacement date,we will look to post detials.

Sunday 1st September the club will host the Smedley cup final with our talented under 17's playing Worksop in a 40 over match from 1pm.All support would be greatly appreciated - bring the family and friends along. There will be a Bbq, Refreshments and some musical entertainment through the day.
