Thank you to all those Care Homes across Staffordshire and Stoke-on-Trent who have already signed up to Capacity Tracker. That is great news, and we hope that you will see some really positive benefits of using this system.
Please note that we are working hard to finalise our own set-up of the Tracker, and make sure that our staff are fully briefed on how best to use the great range of data available to support timely Care Home placements across the area. Please bear with us ...over coming days whilst we complete this set-up; we are aiming to be fully operational with the Tracker next week.
Once again, if you have any queries or would like more information about the Capacity Tracker sign-up process, please contact NHS NECS via necsu.capacitytracker@nhs.net.

Calling all #Staffordshire and #Stoke-on-Trent Care Homes!
Following its success across the North of England, Staffordshire County Council, Stoke-on-Trent City Council, the Staffordshire CCGs, NECS - North of England Commissioning Support Unit and NHS England would like to announce the GO LIVE of an exciting new tool, Capacity Tracker, across Staffordshire and Stoke-on-Trent.
This secure, web-based tool will enable you as care homes to quickly and easily update your bed avail...ability from any device with an internet connection. This will be visible to health and social care teams, but not to other care homes - meaning your vacancies can be more quickly filled and bed state phone calls are reduced. Itãs free-of-charge, and only needs to be updated once a week or when your bed availability changes.
We are encouraging as many providers as possible to sign up for Capacity Tacker as soon as they can. This is quick and easy, and there is support available for you as and when you need it, from a national support hub.
For full details about the Capacity Tracker, and to sign up today, please visit https://carehomes.necsu.nhs.uk/.
NECS - North of England Commissioning Support Unit will be contacting you with more detailed information shortly, so please look out for this.
In the meantime, if you require further information, please contact necsu.capacitytracker@nhs.net.
