Co-Op Food, Newmarket

Parking can be difficult at times and you often have to wait to be served. There is a good selection for a small store, but it's mostly extortionately expensive. It's under the same ownership as the large Co-op in the town centre and employs the same types of rude and awkward staff. Someone I know, aged almost 30, was recently refused service by a jobsworth there, despite another staff member knowing their age! Also, it's absurd that they are labelled by Google as a "supermarket with an ethical focus", they are nothing of the kind. It's honestly best avoided.

Very expensive, sometimes hard to get parked, one or two idiots among the staff. Far worse than any of that is the food they throw away most nights, rather than sell it off at a fair price. The Co-op's claims of ethical behaviour are laughable.

Very handy shop. Lots available for its size. Parking can be tricky sometimes.

Great little shop. Good service and well stocked. A lot better than the large co op in town

Nice shop. Bit pricey on some items. Bit slow on serving customers. Pretty good overall tho.

Modcon local store, plentiful free parking outside, great ranges on all supplies, high end corner shop!!
