What a wonderful place with top notch food and a warm atmosphere. Just the ticket for a lovely meal out on a cold day. As an ex local returning for a Christmas visit we were thrilled with our experience on Boxing Day and that the special convivial community spirit is restored in this cosy renovated village pub.

User

We stayed over for the second time here ! It was lovely rooms are really nice ,staff lovely and the food is amazing !

We will definitely be returning Thankyou xx

User

We stayed here 1 night for a local wedding. We turned up early to get the kids ready and the staff were extremely accommodating, showing us to a spare room to get changed and letting us check in early. The room was superb and worked really well for 2 adults, a 4 yr old and a 1 yr old. Breakfast was lovely and suitable for both kids too. Highly recommend this place.

User

We just had the best stay at the Coach and Horses staying in the Henry room. Simon and all the staff really looked after us, the food was also good. Would highly recommend it and can't wait to go back!

We have dined at The Coach and Horses twice in the last four weeks. On both occasions we have thoroughly enjoyed our meals and the staff were very courteous. On the second of our visits we brought visitors from Yorkshire and Luxembourg who will be returning at their earliest convenience so impressed were they!

We will certainly make this one of our regular haunts. The renovations have been done very sympathetically and the rooms are outstanding. We really love the beautifully hand wrought signage in the form of Cinderella's Coach above the door care of Trapp Forge's Bill Carter!

User

We had a lovely family celebration for our 50th Wedding Anniversary on Sunday. The food was great, everyone enjoyed it and Simon and his staff provided excellent service.

Thank you all

We called in for a few drinks yesterday at the end of our walk and we were very impressed especially after we were welcomed in with our muddy boots. We had a delightful afternoon.

The pub is beautifully done, very tasteful with an impressive attention to detail. It was warm and cosy and the barman was welcoming, friendly and attentive.

The toilets were luxurious and impeccably clean.

The Boxer Blond Ale was served perfectly, we could have stayed all evening. There looks to be a good selection of wines and spirits.

Please please keep up the high standards - it is an absolute gem.

We will be back - can't wait to try the food!

User

Booked a stay in July after seeing all the promotional material on Facebook. I became a bit skeptical due to some of the reviews but I needn't have been. We were greeted with a warm welcome from the lovely team. The room was beautiful and well presented. Nothing was too much for any of the staff and they were determined to provide the highest level of service. Even when the chocolate fondant exploded we were assured noone was hurt and it wouldn't take long for the replacement.

Breakfast was good. Dinner was amazing.

I wish them all the best as they take the business forward, for people who have come into the industry recently they've done a beautiful job and should be proud of what they have achieved. I would definitely recommend the Coach and Horses to family and friends.

User

Lovely place and lovely staff. Food not brilliant... very salty and not very hot. Chef needs to cut back on the salt

User

Called in here tonight for a drink ,had seen all about the place on Facebook and saw it being re done over the last few months when passing weekly.

It is beautiful inside and out no doubt about that ! Unfortunately they really need to brush up on there people skills,my husband and i both stood at the bar the one lady in front of us got served and left,we were stood there about 10 minutes and were not acknowledged once by any of the 3 women serving behind the bar.

They seemed more interested in getting drinks for the people in the dinning room. so after being stood there for far too long and ignored we left.

Stopped off at the spread eagle in sewerly where we were served promptly and with a smile.
