🎯CABLE REAR DELT FLY 🎯 (Back of the shoulders - very small muscle). . I’m still working on this one and as I don’t have anyone watching me, I film it, try and look in mirrors where possible to try and improve. I’m not perfect but always striving for more. I won’t bore you with the other videos I did 🤣 .... It’s a tricky area to target as your other back muscles can take over if your arm position changes. . 1.) Set pulley just above shoulder height 2.) Grasp pulleys with opposite hand to left/right pulleys as seen 3.) Stand tall, core tight and soft knees 4.) Pull back with a straight arms and not too far back. You don’t need to squeeze your shoulders blades on this one. 5.) Try and get that mind to muscle connection. . Cables are a great finisher for your back and you can alter the pulleys, angles to hit more rhomboid, traps, lats too . Following a question by @gym_freak_2012 Here’s a little guide to plant based protein sources. . You can still obtain all your essentials amino acids by consuming good amounts of the above. You do not even have to eat at the same sitting as once believed. 💥Protein Goals 💥
So important along your fitness journey whether that be fat loss or muscle gain. . If in a deficit it helps to preserve muscle tissue and if building and you are eating regularly amounts of protein during the day, it will aid in protein synthesis.
... It’s filling, tasty but sometimes hitting those goals can be tricky particularly for us ladies. . However it can easily be achieved. I start my clients off at 1.5g/kg of bodyweight and gradually move up dependant on their goals. . Plan it out and you’ll smash your goals 💥 . ⭐️Bicep curl to shoulder press . Try this bicep curl to shoulder press combo if you need to work your biceps but still have a little gas in the tank after working your shoulders . Your biceps may not be able to lift the same weight as your shoulders, so it’s a good finisher for your shoulders and work for your biceps. Also a time saver 👍🏼... . Tips - > Curl with control, no swinging with the torso. If you do, lower the weight. > Engage the core and tuck pelvis > Rotate after the curl and press into the shoulder press > Lower with control . SO, to better my clients, I want to better myself. As I always say, you can never stop learning! . Bank Holiday Sunday I have spent with a bunch of likeminded PT’s to increase my knowledge and learn more moves with the TRX 👍🏼 .
