Went here for a meal before the cinema. The place looks amazing and the food is amazing too. Nice friendly staff, our waiter Tom was a friendly and very nice. Music and the whole feel of the place was brilliant,will definitely be back again.

Visited for the first time tonight, it was our 7 year anniversary. We were impressed as soon as we walked in the door as the restaurant is really gorgeous. We were shown to our seat straight away and given a lovely comfy booth. Our server (Taylor?) was extremely professional and could not do enough for us. The food was served really quick, we had nachos and bacon cheeseburgers, both delicious. And my tequila sunrise was nice too. Will definitely be coming back, well done!!!

Very happy with the service and food. We had a table for 10 and the food was brought out fairly quick considering how many of us there were ! My partner had steak which was cooked to perfection and was absolutely delicious. Our waitress was helpful and friendly. Would reccomend !

Popped in for lunch and we all ended up having burgers. Mine was the best veggie option I've had in years. All very tasty, generous portions and excellent service.

Just wanted to say how impressed I was with the service and food we received today. We visited for my daughter's 8th birthday (myself, 1 other adult and 8 girls). The manager (I assume!) was great, offered us free jugs of squash for the children. Our waitress was super friendly and nothing was too much trouble. They had let me drop a cake and balloons off at 9am this morning, and brought the cake out at the end of the meal - providing candles as I had forgotten to take some!! Everyone enjoyed their food, some even packed up slices of pizza to take home.

Thoroughly recommend this restaurant. Thank you for helping make my little girls birthday special :-D

Just had a meal there Sunday for anniversary with 2 kids absolutely first class food and service was brilliant the girls were very attentive to our needs and were brilliant with our kids .

I never bother leaving reviews but the man who served us was brilliant, so lovely and couldn't of asked for more from him. His name is Tom, please thank him for me! Really does make a difference when you get service like that �

Had a really lovely meal here. They catered to a large party at short notice and were polite when I called this morning asking to bring even more people. We had Rachael as our waitress and she was brilliant! �

Had a lovely time last night: atmosphere was great, food delicious and served quickly and the staff were helpful. Justina, Emily and Jack ensured that me and my sister had an amazing night. It is a shame I could not drink- coctails menu was impressive!

Fantastic breakfast! Tried coast to coast for first time for the 2 for £10 breakfast I had the Big Breakfast Bap Stack which had sausages bacon sweet potato fritter and egg (all perfectly cooked I might add) and plenty of cubes potatoes. The egg was lovely and runny and unlike other places I have tried for breakfast all served hot! The bacon was cooked lovely, sausages just the right amount of flavour and seasoning and there was plenty of food so very much value for money. My partner had the coast the coast breakfast and really enjoyed it too couldn’t fault his! Will definitely be coming back for breakfast and giving a lunch or dinner meal

Been here regularly since opening, service has always been great can't fault it at all. Food is gorgeous, well presented and reasonably priced. The cocktails are superb I recommend the cherry cola. The restaurant itself is kept very clean, looks cool and plays a good selection of old skool tunes.

Always amazing service when Phil or Taylor are on! Amazing people! And never have a bad meal when Trevor is cooking...shame he isn't on every time we come!

The food / ambiance was excellent but the waiters weren't. Which is most likely down to the restaurant and therefore the staff still being relatively new in this establishment. For some reason everyone but the person with steak got a steak knife.

The waiters didn't know about the promotional offers which were advertised on the tables.

Strangely we were charged a full bill without the free drinks & offers we had codes for, despite them being accepted. Even when the group was confused by the bill & gave him the totals of our meals he still didn't work out his error & it was only corrected upon us having to go back in & ask for a refund.

Service ok, but portion size very small considering it’s an American restaurant. Very expensive, I had loaded potato skins which were more like new potatoes and not loaded at all. The actual place in Ipswich very well decorated but the price list was obviously still paying for that.

Coast 2 Coast experience tonight was fantastic we had some brilliant service tonight from a Young lady called Coral, this time round was for an occasion and she enhanced the experience more than what we asked for, we appreciated the service and attentiveness, we hope it continues across the board and we will back after tonight for sure !

We visited Saturday evening and it was alright. The guy that greeted us at the door was a bit abrupt but we didn't have any interaction with him for the rest of the evening so we didn't mind. The food was ok, we waited a while for it but it was busy and there were a few big parties so it is understandable. The best part of the evening was our waitress Esme. We were told this was only her second week working there but she was so lovely and polite. When we told at the end of our meal how lovely she was she told us she hadn't had a good shift and had got upset over a few customers complaining about the food but I wanted to say how she is such a lovely girl and I hope she continues to do well :)

When you disclose to a member of staff that you have an dairy allergy you don't expect them to just run and get a disclosure form whilst not acknowledging it. The waiter proceeded to point at the menu and tell me all the things I can't have on the menu. Not very inclusive of people with allergies. Perhaps if the waiter had offered things on the menu I could eat it would have been better...

This time we had the same meal but it was only half as good. The milkshake's was half the size half the ingredients but stil £4.95 you must make around 85% mark up. The coleslaw had been liquidised and was running off the plate.

The burgers taste like 50% salt.

£75 for 3 for lunch is not cheap. Customers lost. Go to Prezzo a lot better....

We decide to give this place a try sadly big mistake our waitress was lovely sadly the food was average the milkshakes at £5 was more like a slush puppy it was so full of ice they did replace it but sadly not much better. Would we go back no � it's byrons for us any day

Very disappointing, food below par for price paid (not cheap either). Waited ages for first round of drinks and even longer for second lot of drinks. Staff not very interested and would rather stand at bar chatting. Will not return there.

Overpriced and tasteless. Processed cheese in the nachos, is it really to much to ask to use real cheese?! Onion rings cooked in dirty oil. Maybe the owners should try going to America and see roughly how the food is supposed to be!

Went there this morning with my son and 3 year old granddaughter got a table straight away. Sat in a fairly empty restaurant for 10 minutes asked if we wanted colouring for the little one. 5 mins later got colouring page. Food. Don't do kids menu. Can't order an extra sausage bacon and beans for child. Waitress just said you have to order a dish on the menu. Son wanted mushrooms and black pudding. They did not have any and don't sell black pudding and know why it's in the menu. We reviews this place with our feet and left to go to closey club who gave us everything we wanted. 12 in our family and we had come out this morning to give it a try for a family dinner. Wack wack oops we will never go there again. Shocking.

Went here today for lunch got seated quickly by what I'm assuming was the manager he was very friendly and helpful that's where the good bits end. The food was absolutely diabolical, no taste, the potato skins were soggy, burger and chips was stone cold and the chicken was absolutely vile rubbery and anaemic. It tasted and looked so bad I gagged and sent it straight back without ordering anything else. Like I said the manager was amazing but I paid thirty quid for two rubbish starters and a cold burger... absolute rip off over priced and underperformed. I will never be returning here after leaving feeling absolutely sick.

The place was pretty empty and we got told at 17:30 they couldn't seat the two of us as the kitchen was being cleaned at 21:30,

Walked down to grand central,lovely staff and good food!

Rude waiters that didn't give children free pudding and one waiter actually made my daughter cry by prodding her continuously asking why she didn't eat her food � no manager on shift to speak to. Awful behaviour and food was average and wrong

Poor service, rank chips, so dark in there, i thought they were hard up for the electric.

Poor - well over priced, average food and rubbish service.



Only highlight was the bar man juggling - he entertained my children and had a decent conversation whilst others grunted and rarely cracked a smile.

I came here with my boyfriend last night. It took 10 minutes for us to be acknowledged at the door, even though the restaurant was quiet. One of the waitresses saw us but continued to ignore us. Someone then sat us down and chucked a couple of menus in front of us and then walked off. It was then another 15-20 minutes before they came over to take our drinks order. By this time we knew what we wanted to eat too, so we ordered a starter (to share) and mains. Eventually our starter was brought over to us. We took a bite and the food was cold! It must've been sat waiting for a long time before they brought it over. As there was no sign of any waitress I picked up the cold starter and took it back to the kitchen. The waitress then said they would get the chef to make it again. I made her aware that we still hadn't had our drinks (Pepsi and a Huckleberry Finn) and we had been in the restaurant for over an hour. We waited for a bit longer for our drinks and then had enough. My boyfriend approached the manger who eventually came out from wherever he was hiding. The manager didn't have much to say, except for he doesn't know why the restaurant is bad and he's only on cover. We walked out after being in Coast to Coast for and hour and a half. All we had one bite of a cold starter. The restaurant was very quiet, there were enough staff on shift but the atmosphere was dead! Bad service from the start, bad food and bad management. Completely ruined our night! �����

First time I’ve been to coast to coast Ipswich and I’m disappointed. Rude and unwelcoming greeting at the door, was seated and left there. No one came and offered us a drink. Sat there for 20mins and still no one came and offered us a drink or asked for our food. Wasn’t at all busy. So left to go to Byron burger �

Disgusting service. Waited over 20 minutes for our drinks to be brought from the bar to our table (we could see them waiting!) and when we asked for the bill the waitress went on her break leaving us sitting there! The 'manager' appeared to not know what a comb was and was parading around the restaurant with a purple feather sticking out of his shirt buttons and kept disappearing in to the customer toilets. The remaining waitress was too busy chatting up a customer at the bar while drinking a cocktail to notice we wanted any attention. Will not be returning. Shame because the food was delicious.

Decided to try out this place for the first time, safe to say it was a mistake.. waitress was lovely, but food and length of service was awful, we tried ordering certain things to find that most of it they didn't have in, in total this was about 4 things.. not only that but we waited an hour to get our mains to then find that my steak was still practically still running around on the plate.. sent it back to then receive still not a great steak! And then to only receive £10 off was a disappointment.. and for the price we paid in total was definitely not worth it at all. Safe to say we will not be returning..

Bank holiday Monday lunch session on a quiet restaurant we shouldn't have to wait an hour between courses , never asked if we wanted more drinks as the staff where too busy chatting to their friends and the food was dried up and Luke warm a £90 + bill could have been higher if we had been offered the chance to order more and then despite me asking for the bill it was popped in front of my husband it was our first visit to your restaurant and it will be our last
