When booking a place on Mario’s lake we will now require payment in full to secure the booking. This is because, unfortunately, we have some customers that do not arrive for their bookings and we feel this is the only way to resolve this issue. New terms and conditions regarding refunds will be available.
Sheringham Park is open every day and is definitely worth a visit. If you visit during May and early June you will see the wonderful collection of Rhododendrons in flower.
Over the Easter weekend Hoveton Hall Gardens will be having a special Easter Treasure Hunt.
Pensthorpe's Easter Eggstravaganza starts on the 6th April and runs until 22nd April, why not take the kids and join in the fun.
Historical garden tours start today at Wiveton Hall with Desmond MacCarthy star of Normal for Norfolk.
Don't forget that the clocks will go forward 1 hour at 2am on Sunday
Wiveton Hall restaurant/tea room opens today. Well worth a visit, very popular so booking is recommended.
We are very happy to say that our new shop is taking shape, with the roof trusses being installed this morning.

Do you need more time on your pitch to pack away your tent or caravan? Or maybe you would just like a few more hours fishing? For just £5.00 you can stay on your pitch until 5pm! This is subject to availability.
During the Easter holiday why not take a boat trip to Blakeney Point, one of the best places to see Common & Grey Seals. Trips are available all year round.
Unfortunately we will unable to go ahead with the charity calendar for 2020 due to a lack of interest.

We’ve just returned from Cobbleacre and although the weather has been pretty awful this bank holiday weekend we had such a relaxing time. Great caravan & nice people that we met, including Bob the Bailiff! See you all again soon, hopefully catch some fish next time too
Went with hubbie who is the fisherman. Scenery beautiful, lovely couple of walks around the lakes. Caravan very nice. Deeply relaxing and good for the soul. Can't wait to go back.
We are just over halfway through our 2 week stay here. The park is beautiful and very well kept, the boys have enjoyed the fishing, especially my 10 yr old son who has caught the most fish he's ever caught. The facilities are excellent and very clean. It's lovely to have such hot power showers and hot water for washing up. The lady who does the cleaning is lovely and you can tell she takes pride in keeping the facilities as clean as possible. It would be nice if the shop sold some basic necessities like bread, milk, eggs and bacon to save driving into Aylsham. We would definitely love to come back to Cobbleacre.
Such a nice place to do night fishing the lakes are kept well looked after and even treated my self to a new Korda jumper from the shop will definitely comeback soon
Stayed here for a short break in the static caravans end of august cannot fault how brilliant everything was. The site was clean and tidy and it's dog friendly which was a bonus for me as while my partner fished i could go walking with my dogs, A local indian takeaway also delivered our meal to the site one evening which was great although the caravans do have everything you need for preparing meals. Everyone was really friendly would certainly return! Only critisism was there was a little black dog running round quite regularly around the lakes no owner to be seen and no coller on lovely little dog but was annoying my dogs and would not go away which made it stressfull sometimes as my dogs can be agressive towards other dogs and it also kept scratching on our caravan door it was mentioned during our visit and i believe the owner of the site did apologise to a family member of mine regarding this issue. Hopefully see you next year!
Special thanks to Adam for allowing me to wonder as I please with my camera around these fantastic lakes....well worth a visit for fishing ( I assume) and a must for photographers!
Me and the good lady spent 2 nights fishing at Mario’s lake. Superb fishing catching carp to 28lb 8oz off the surface and then 12 catfish over two nights upto 33lb 12oz. Thoroughly enjoyed it, together with clean showers and toilets it was very comfortable. Got to see the elusive Casper the not so friendly ghost which hasn’t been caught in 9 years now and looks massive. Definitely be back
Loved it. Caught lots of roach and perch and a nice Tench. Next time I go be different bait not just meat and sweetcorn a bit limited what the fish eat
Just spent the week here at cobbleacre lakes .Fisherman's paradise . 5 amazing lakes . Specimen lake is like a dream picture . Well managed lakes. Staff all very friendly.and chatty . Superb fishing tackle shop on-site . And most importantly. Had my new personal best carp . Of 25lb common .also landed a first ever ide of 3lb .
Unbelievable showers .so not and powerful .
Would highly recommend this venue to all
Hubby who is the fisherman and I are here for a long weekend. The park is beautiful with some nice walks round the lakes for our 2 dogs. We have been made to feel really welcome and were lucky enough to be able to pitch with electric hook up right next to a swim which has been much appreciated. The facilities are modern and clean. I would agree with another reviewer about the shop stocking basic provisions however this would not stop us from coming back and indeed hope to later in the year with friends. A big thanks to all at Cobbleacre.
Great choice of lakes for any level of angler. Just finished 24hrs on Adams. The bailiff Bob is always happy to give advice and help you catch. After a 5 min chat with Bob I changed my tactics and netted 7 carp. Already looking forward to my next visit
Best lake in Norfolk by miles. nice to see fish in top notch condition carp all shapes and sizes had two out not big by any means but where the prettiest full scale mirror I’ve seen. the colours where unbelievable golds whites pinks orange 17 lds. And if you love your cat fishing one man in the next swim pulled out 13 in a 24hrs session biggest 37lds I wouldn’t believe it myself but see it with my own two eyes
