Great Food and Rooms
Lovely old fashioned hotel. Room spacious and very comfortable. Excellent breakfast. Great value, and very pleasant staff. Will definitely use again on future visits to Berwick.

I didn't actually stay but I was very greatful they let me cancel a stay for free even though I booked through a website that was technically nonrefundable. Will try to stay there in the future sometime!
Fantastic food, great atmosphere, and helpful staff
We stayed here for 2 nights. Monday it doesn't open but rooms were ok. Some parts a little dated.
Food and drink lovely and great service
We ate there about 4 years ago and enjoyed very much. This trip it was truly the worst food we have ever eaten. It would be too difficult to describe how badly they could make seven dinners. The seven of us were appalled at how downhill the place had gone. We all ate there last time and could not believe the difference. I am not sure if it is a new owner or not. All the owner was concerned with is that we return the toilet key, treating us like little school children.
We drove back a long way to eat there as we had enjoyed so much last time. What a waste of petrol, time and money.
Unless you really enjoy throwing your money away do yourself a favor and please avoid this one. There are plenty of good places to eat around town without this place.
